(1) The owner (or principal manager) is there quite often. She works very hard and is extremely courteous. She is the only English speaker, but everyone is patient about trying to communicate somehow. (2) The rates were quite competitive. (3) 10 min walk to the center. (4) It's exactly what is advertised: a functional bed & breakfast. Nothing extremely elegant nor run-down. Just straight to the point, well-maintained, with tv & Wifi, though with restrictions .

Nice restaurant next door and friendly night club also next door. Very friendly russian-speaking staff. Part of pansion is very good pizzeria with very tested pizza and czech cuisine. 10 min. Walking distance from Plzen main railwaystation. This is a very nice small property not badly located relative to the Main Railway Station. The restaurant is quaint and has very good food. possibility of preparing the breakfast bag when anounced an early check-out before breakfast. Great price, location and friendly staff. I liked everything !!!!. Good location. Friendly lady receptionist during the day. Tasty pizza in restaurant. Location. Decent breakfast. (1) It's not their fault, but there was much heavy construction noise adjacent to their building (April 2013). This meant no sleeping during business hours (8-5/6). There was even work done on Saturday. It shakes the building. If this will be an issue for you, call to see if it's still happening. (2) Most restaurants in cr still allow smoking. No different here. (3) Wifi is partly restricted, may prevent access to phone apps. Construction on streets nearby make reaching the hotel a chore. reception is being operated by the waitress, so you have to wait a while until she serves the guests in the restaurant, but it was no serious problem. Bed very uncomfortable, a bit noisy at the weekend. Terrible disko taking place in inner yard belonging to the cafe nexto the pension building. It lasts till 2:00 A.M. on fridays and saturdays. Impossible to sleep. I had to call police and it didn't help. Avoid this place on weekends. Terrible standard of accommodation. Mattress so thin it was like sleping on the solid wood base. Rude and unhelpful owner and evening staff (morning receptionist was quite pleasant). Noise from courtyard. Avoid staying here, although the attached restaurant seemed ok.
