  Having worked for a well known brand of hotel provider in the uk, I was immediately impressed with the attitude of all the staff towards the customer. They take the attitude of promoting the company they work for by really putting that little bit extra into their roles. The chef came into the dining room to ask if food was ok. We were served break... what people say » fast an hour earlier than normal due to having an early flight to catch. We were given free transport to the airport. All such little extras were high - The staff were so welcoming, professional and helpful. We arrived late in the evening and the chef came out to ask if we were hungry and, although he was right at the end of his shift he cooked us the most amazing steak dinner! The young guy on reception was so helpful too - while we were waiting with a drink he came over and asked us what time we needed a shuttle service to the airport and whether we would like breakfast in the restaurant, our bedroom or packed up for us! The room was perfect

  Staff was great, they picked us up from the ap as we arrived late and were unfamiliar with the location- tho as other reviewers state it really is an easy 7 minute walk (we timed it the next day). We enjoyed a quiet night and woke well rested. The restaurant and patio are quite pleasant. - Restaurant (excellent food, especially fish) Garden Staff (friendly from the beginning till our departure. When we asked where to find a pharmacy, one of the employees proposed to take us to the pharmacy himself, and so he did it) Good location especially for those who fly by plane or just passing Zagreb during their trip to the sea side or to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

  The facilities were very modern, warm, comfortable (high quality bedding) and spotlessly clean and the service was wonderful. (Much better than the 5 star we had stayed in at Opatija the previous week). We arrived very early (well before check-in) and were greeted by our friendly host with a nice hot cup of coffee. We needed to catch a flight very early the following day - We were very happy, just to begin with, we arrived into Zagreb almost at 11 pm, we called into Ikar guest house and Marco the kind owner picked us up at the airport; the following day he dropped us to pick up our car at the airport; he really went out of his way to accommodate us. He asked us what time we wanted to have breakfast and had it ready for us !, it was simple but plenty of food: coffee, juice, bread with jelly and butter and also a bid platter with cheese and ham.   This was very convenient for an overnight stay at the airport. The owner was very nice and friendly. - Good value, friendly owners. We were really looked after and nothing was too much trouble.

  Staff is great. Location is great with a 10 minute walk to the terminal, even in the snow, which I have done several times in the last few years. No need for an expensive taxi, or to wait for a hotel shuttle. (Next closest hotel is a few miles away and requires a taxi or the not always perfect shuttle service.) Breakfast is always pretty good, and... what people say » they will pack you a sack breakfast if you have a super early morning flight, and you have let them know the night before. Staff is always very atten - We stayed in Zagreb in transit so picked this hotel as it was within budget and close to airport. They arranged taxi for us, even though it was a 10 minute walk. Very funky decorated rooms and quite comfortable. Dinner was basic home cooked food and fine. Breakfast also very basic. Terrible coffee

  The guesthouse is in a beautiful location up on the top of a hill with a beautiful view on one side of the mountains (toward Slovenia) and Zagreb on the other side. We had to leave early so we didn't have breakfast but dinner was fantastic, everything perfectly cooked and lumberjack portions. The location of the place,surrounded by vineyards, the views, the smell of the winemaking in progress, the wonderful and good- sized meals and of course the lovely home made wines and aperative. Wifi very easy to get into. Bedroom smallish but very well-appointed and comfortable. Beautiful bathroom. The breakfast was the best we had had during our stay in Croatia and masses of it, which set us up for our long car journey back to Holland.

  Is a good hotel for business. Or just for a stop in Zagreb. Not for tourism or romance! It is very easy to found if you take the right exit! Because if you are not it is one hour of difficulties... There was just one person present (week-end) but she was charming and very very very helpful. Very clean hotel, good food, huge bedroom, very nice bath... what people say » room. very good hotel to stop one night on the road. - This hotel was very quite when we arrived, it looked closed and I believe we were the only customers. The staff was very friendly and helped us perfectly.

  The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable and feel welcome. They were helpful in sightseeing recommendations. We had access to a rural atmosphere including the fragrance of freshly plowed fields that one rarely gets on a trip to Europe.   Pansion Gec is a family-run business in a western suburb of Zagreb. The family made us feel very welcome, even for a family celebration. Delicious dinners grilled to order and served in a very clean dining room and on the vine-covered terrace were served every evening. Breakfasts offered a full array of foods. I would recommend this Pansion. - The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the countryside.
