Pansion Gec is a family-run business in a western suburb of Zagreb. The family made us feel very welcome, even for a family celebration. Delicious dinners grilled to order and served in a very clean dining room and on the vine-covered terrace were served every evening. Breakfasts offered a full array of foods. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful and always had a smile. A bus stop and train station (train into the city) are nearby. I would recommend this Pansion.
all reviews » The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable with a balcony overlooking the countryside. Breakfast was extensive with something to please everyone, both hot and cold options. Dinner was available and was an excellent home cooked meal. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Hotel was close enough to travel to Zagreb and surrounds. Free parking and also free WiFi. The stuff was really friendly,the owner was nice and also suggested a place to stay in Krk.Breakfast was good(omlette).Everything was clean,and the room was a great view on the mountains and city at night. The yard was also beautiful. Friendly for motorcyclists :) Would really recommend to stay. Amazing pension. The location is about 8 kms away from Zagreb downtown, so it's highly reccomended to arrive by car. The facilities are great, the staff is kind and the breakfast is out of this world. 10/10. I really don’t understand how this place can be called ‘fabulous’.Overrated hotel. It’s hard to call it hotel, it’s more like a B&B. Found it very expensive for what they offer – smelly staircase, poor quality furniture and sheets, just bad decoration. The breakfast was average. The location is strange, near Zagreb but in a very grey area. We stopped on the way to Italy, so it’s only worthwhile if you’ll use it for 1 night on your way to othe. No air-conditioning. We were invaded by mosquitoes when we opened the windows of our room. Nothing. Everything was great. I really missed Hairdryer in the bathroom :). air-conditione extra pay. Personnel didn´t speak well english, but were very kind and assiduous. Very far out if you don't have a car it would be very difficult to stay there. In the suburb of Zaqred.
