  It is elegant but also very friendly and comfortable. The situation in the old town is full of character and the staff could not have been more helpful. I was on a winter break with my husband and I would recommend it highly. We did have to walk (5 mins) from the old town gate as cars cannot drive up to the hotel, but this added to the charm. - ... what people say » It's location was perfect.   Was probably the most clean and spacious apartment we stayed on our trip. Family of four and had a lounge room and dining room so plenty of space . Aircon and wifi excellent unlike some other places we stayed . The host made us pita and offered drinks on arrival and was very kind and friendly .   Up market !! - Location was perfect, being directly outside Old Town. Being so close toPile Gate also meant that it was a very short walk to the hotel aftergetting off the bus from the airport. The staff was extremely friendly -the lady who checked me in remembered my name throughout my stay and wasvery helpful!

  Everything was just perfect!!! The studio was clean and not far from the old town. You have a nice beach not far, the perfect location! Thanks once again to the owners, especially the lady who welcomed us, she has been soooo nice to us!!   Gabi and her family were very friendly. The apartment is very well located as its a 5 min walk to Lapad beach and 10 min from Splendid, 2 min from a cinema (in English), cafes and restaurants are also a few min walk away. The No 4 bus is just outside and runs every 20 min from 15min past the hour and goes direct to the old town in about 15-20 min.... what people say » The apartment had a washing machine which was great for us as we we travelling for 6 weeks. The wifi was also excellent (fast and reliable). The room - Gabi and her husban Ivan, the owners of the apartment were very friendly and welcoming! Please note that if you arrive by car the apartment is in a family house off the extremely little narrow lane, which we missed in the dark. After finally finding it by walking Gabi came out to us and lead us to the house. Apartment is well equipped, all kitchen utensils, wifi, comfortable bed.   From the moment we arrived we were made very welcome by the staff , everybody was genuinely helpful . The hotel is a beautifully restored mansion and is a refuge from the crowded madness of Dubrovnik . Located a 20 minute bus ride from the Old City Pile Gate with a bus stop 100 metres from the hotel front door . I cannot praise Hotel Zagreb enoug... what people say » h and my advice to anyone going to Dubrovnik is " Dont hesitate book Hotel Zagreb " , you will not be disappointed ! A real find in Dubrovnik , a city - Great location close to the sea and parkland. Bars and restaurants a few yards away and easy access to the old town by number 6 bus 50 metres from the front door. Extremely friendly and informative staff. Room 31, although at the top of the house has an amazing roof terrace, must be seen. Great value hotel and a great place to be based for a trip of any length to the stunning Dubrovnik.

The host is friendly and acts as a guide by leaving maps, discounts for some businesses in town, and explaining historical/practical things about dubrovnik. There are shopping malls (food, bakery, ...) in the direct environment, which is good since there is no breakfast optio - Ante is a kind and genuine host, gives a great introduction to the apartment and the surroundings. Answers any questions you may have and offers a very comfortable place to rest and relax after walking around all day. Highly recommend these apts to anyone visiting Dubrovnik. The new town is only a 5 min bus ride from this apt and 10min walk to the bus station.

  We stayed in the Duplex apartment at the start of October.The location of the apartment cannot be beaten, absolutely in the centre of old Dubrovnik. It is right at the heart of the city life and as it is the top two floors is actually very quiet...except for the bells of St Blaise's church (literally a few feet away) and the Cathedral. The facilities to cook are absolutely fine but you are spoilt fo - The apartment was perfectly central in the city, very easy to get to on arrival & extremely spacious, so no tripping over the suitcase during our stay! It was great to have somewhere we were never more than a 15 minute walk away from (within the city walls), for any well needed breaks from the blazing sun. I would definitely stay there again on a return to trip to Dubrovnik.

  This is most definitely a first class 5 star hotel from the moment of pickup from airport. The hotel is a designers dream no detail too small for them. Open spaces yet a feeling of intimacy. Fabulous room with small balcony and big view. Great location with private boat ride to walled city several time a day (mini van provided if weather does not ... what people say » permit boat). 5 Star restaurant, bit pricey but worth every penny. Plenty of good food places in town too. Indoor outdoor swimming pool, outdoor lunch - The location is magnificent. The beds are very comfortable and enormous. Every room has a sea view which is spectacular. Simply adored the courtesy vaporetta that shuttles between the hotel and the old harbour in Dubrovnik every hour.

  Fantastic view over Dubrovnik from 2 balconies. Great accomodation with very caring owner that was helpful in all possible ways. Remember to ask him to pick you up in the airport (because we forgot). Spacious apartment, 3 nice and clean bedrooms. - Very kind staff. Good room. Great view. If you have car, it may perfect room.
