A beautiful apartment with a beautiful view of the city. Very nice people, discrete and helpful. The bus station to go to old town is just 5 min. max (ticket costs 1.5euro, bus 6, 15 min. to reach). There is a beautiful pedestrian promenade paralel to the street where the villa is. Has a lot of restaurant and bistro and in 10 min, you reach the beach. The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed it was perfect for us (we where 2 couples). Cosy, clean, confortable. I recommend this villa!.
all reviews » We stayed one week at Villa Timy in the beginning of July. Good location near restaurants, walking street, bus stop, taxi stand and shops. Lovely and very friendly host family (especially greetings and thanks to lovely Lara). I will recommend. Croatia is great country to visit. I will recommend it as well. Mladen and family couldn't do enough for us whilst we stayed with them. I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone for a nice relaxing break. Dubrovnik is beautiful and the location of this property is perfect if you like to be close enough to the beach and restaurants but far away from the noise. Excellently located for easy access to the old town. The bus stop into town is 5 minutes walk. The #6 is 10 minutes to the gate of old town. Our was apartment very comfotable and fully equipped and sleeps four or five. Just below the apartment is a street of restaurants on a pedestrian boulevard. The location was great .. near the promenade, bus stop, beach, restaurants and supermarket. A nice terrace and the apartment manager was very friendly and extremely helpful. It was nice to have a washing machine and a kitchen. Shower was good size and air conditioning was a plus.. Owner Lara was really sweet and helpful. Location close to everything, easy access to Old Town with bus no. 6 and alternatively to Bus Station with bus no. 7. I truly recommend Villa Timy to all kinds of travellers :). We stayed here for 7 nights. The location was great. Just 5 min. walk to beach and even less to restaurants and bus stop. The appartment was large and clean and the owner was very helpfull and spoke great english. The apartment was in good location in a residential area away from the hustle and bustle of Dubrovnik but easily reached by local bus services. Restaurants, supermarket and beach all within walking distance. The owner that her name is Lara was so hospitable. The hotel was confortable and clean. The equipment of what ever you need was exist. I strongly recomended. The owner was friendly and helpful. The apartment was comfortable in a very good location for transport and shops and near to the beaches. Roomy apartment, apart from the small kitchen area. Comfortable living space. Very handy to buses, cafes and a supermarket. Loved it here, great location, , clean and friendly staff. Big terrace, friendly hosts. It doesn't look much like the pics. It needs updating. We would not stay here again. Close to the beach areas of Lapat. There was nothing that we didn't like :). Despite requesting a non smoking apartment it was obvious that people had smoked in there and three smell was offensive. The shower was the smallest I have ever used. I am only a size 12 and I struggled to raise my arms to wash my hair. I was disappointed with the "terrace" as it wasnt representative of the photos. The airconditioning unit was right outside the bedroom window and was so loud we couldnt have it on at night. If you dont have navigation, it may be hard to find to hotel. Nothing. The small outdoor space (for our two person groundfloor apartment) was adjoining other villa users' car parking space. No views. The pics do not match what was in letsbookhotel.com, the kitchen was not updated and did not have an oven. We have been traveling for 7 months in Europe and it is the first disconnect, bad towels and the whole place looks outdated. Need instruction manual on how to run water heater, tv, washing machine. Quite far from Dubrovnic city centre after a night out.
