Great breakfast!, haven't seen the same selection and quality since Radisson Blu Resort in Split. Nice public areas. Nice staff everywhere. Reasonable prices in pool bar and hotel bar. Free use of sunbeds, parasolls, towels at nice stone beach at near by Hotel Valamar President. Air conditioned bus stops at the hotel every 10 minutes. We had travelled the previous week on a very small boat so this was luxury! Exceptionally good suite. Location for getting into Dubrovnik excdellent; good public transport almost outside into Dubrovnik (10 minutes) which operated until 0200. Helpful friendly staff, good breakfasts, good evening bar and entertainment.

No slippers or bath robe in the room in a 4 star hotel??? Had room 4037. Unable to use foot on waste bin in bathroom. Safe blocked itself every time I would open it, had to wait 5 minutes to retry. You have to breake a paper ribbon to use the mini bar, I just wanted to store my own water in there but didn't because of this. 3-in-1 shower gel / shampoo / conditioner in bath room. The room didn't at all meet my expectations. Having to leave!. Really could find no fault. the wi-fi could be faster!. Nothing. Resort seems more suitable for business conferences, rather than a luxury resort. It was big & clean, but lacked personality or that little extra something.. Also no spa in the spa area! We've also never experienced a resort where you can only have plastic cups by the pool before (half the size of the normal cocktail glasses so not good value by the pool). Nothing. In our booking email, we requested a "high floor, ocean view", and the booking was accepted. However, when we arrived and went to our room, it was located behind the first half of the hotel, with the ocean view 80% blocked by the hotel. The staff did upgrade us the very next day, to a large suite, with 100% ocean view and nothing blocking the view to the oceanside. Water in outside swimming pool was quite cold. Pillows was too soft. Even there was few different pillows. Outdoor seating for fine dining restaurant spoiled by glaring floodlights. Wifi not easily accessed in all parts of hotel. nothing. Hotel President's beach isn't great, quite a walk into town from the hotel. -one of the staff members working at the main desk -having to get to the beath through another hotel's elevator, where our key cards weren't recognised -someone giving our room number when paying for a drink..we weren't charged because i recognised it but still, they should have a better system - we could hear the band playing in our room and they usually play till 12:30am. do not eat the mediterrian sallad or the icecream! made me very sick!.

- Coming from Split:
- after crossing the Dubrovnik bridge, follow the signs for Lapad and/or Babin Kuk hotels.
- At the 5th traffic light, by the Minčeta department store,
- turn right and drive to the traffic light in Lapad,
- turn right again. The resort is at the very end of this road.

Coming from the airport or Montenegro:
- take the first turn from the main road to Dubrovnik
- follow the signs for Lapad and/or Babin Kuk hotels.
- At the first traffic light turn right,
- at the second turn left, and drive straight to your resort.
