We liked everything, beautifully clean, comfy beds and pillows, good wifi, and a lovely terrace under the grapevines in the sun. The owners were amazing, they brought us grapes and figs from their garden, and even an apple strudel one morning.
The location is great, just above the old town. About 40 steps away (down) from shops with bakery goods, ice creams, beers and wines. Yes there are steps to get up but there are steps everywhere in Dubrovnik. It's built on a hill and cars (ie taxis) . all reviews »
We loved how close the apartment was to the Old City. Though there are a lot of stairs, the location was excellent. We were able to head back from the Old City on a whim and take a rest. What was also great was how easy it was to find. We took local transit from the bus terminal and got off at the Cable Car stop and the street was right there! Another bonus to the location is that the Airport shuttle bus is at the Cable Car stop. It takes literally one minute to walk down some stairs and .
we stayed there two weeks and could have stayed easily longer. Last holiday before our Baby will be born. It was very clean (cleaner every day) and the location was super convenient to get quickly either to the old town center (ca. 5 minutes walk ) or Banje Beach (ca. 10minutes walk -> we opted though to go to St. Jakov beach which is much further away but much less crowded). Very nice owner who generously treated us with grapes and figs from their own garden. Bakery nearby as well as cable .
Perfect location – only 3 min walk to old town! There was very beautiful garden in front of the villa with olive, lemon, orange and fig trees. Amazing view over the sea and old town. Our apartment was very nice with two spacious rooms, private bathroom and equipped kitchen. It was very clean. Very good value for money. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you for wonderful hospitality !!! We have very pleasant stay at Villa Jelen and definitely recommend it to other travelers.
Spacious and extremely clean apartment with private kitchen and bathroom. Everything in the apartment was in good condition. The owner is very kind and helpful. Nice garden where you can sit in front of the apartment. Location is perfect, being only a few minutes on foot from the old town and 30 seconds from the stop for busses going to the airport. There are views over the old town. Price was excellent considering all this.
the location was great. Little outside the old city but still very central. Near shops too. The apartment was really clean-couldnt fault it. The owner's and their son were very frinedly. The owner even organised a taxi to collect us at 5 a.m. the next morning so we could catch our ferry. Really lovely place to stay.
Excellent accommodation. Couldn't fault it. The room was clean and tidy. We had a well appointed small kitchen and a lovely outdoor table in the backyard with views out over the old town. Great location directly below the Cable car so only a 5 min walk into the old town. Highly recommended.
This apartment was one of the best ones I have seen in Dubrovnik. Very clean the owners were so delightful happy to help with any questions we had. It is located close to the old city and the one of the most popular beaches in Dubrovnik. We give it a 10/10 and highly recommend it !.

A exceptionally friendly owner! He brought us grapes and figs from his own garden as well as delicious espresso. Just 5 minutes of walking to the old town and a beautiful garden with a great view over the city. Definitely recommendable!.

to the bus stop to go to the airport and only 10 min by walk to
Dubrovnik center. The owner is very welcoming and during the season he

In spite of having warned them of our arrival time, we had to wait for
more than 1 hour on the rain with our luggage because Jelenka, who
wasn't in Duvrobnik, couldn't talk to her husband, who appeared
to be missing. After 1 hour wait, he arrived and offered us a coffee...
But didn't help us out too much after that.
