  We stayed at this hotel due to it's close proximity to the airport and the value. We only needed a place to sleep and a ride to the airport and this is exactly what the Berlor offers. The rooms are very small but clean and are perfect for a one night stay before a flight.   it's a neighborhood, ranch setting. their were horses grazing in the yard across the street. our room had a view of the mountains. they cooked eggs for us every morning, and it was included.everyone was very friendly and helpful. - It is really close to the main airport so it is convenient if you need to fly from there

  I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. It was in a suburban neighborhood, yet it had a lovely tropical feel within. Not merely concrete, but lush vegetation with a very pleasant and comfortable feel to it. The Manager, Randall, was also very helpful in recommendation a place to eat, providing us with some ice, and just helpful in general. Also, having a rental car, it was comforting to have a gated facility in which - The location is perfect for late night or early morning flight travelers.   Very convenient if coming or going from the airport - just five minutes away. The hotel does pay for the taxi which was very helpful given I was not familiar with local currency when I arrived. The gardens are filled with orchids, flowers, shrubs and trees that are spectacular. The facilities are exceptional as was the restaurant. Breakfast is provided and was also very good. The room was comfortable and clean, well appointed. If you are looking for a relaxing experience that is convenient to the airport, this is the place. Shuttle service provided free with notice.

The hotel is very new and modern as well as clean, you don't hear any noise frim the airport, staff extremely friendly (which is-as we now know typical for Costa Rica). We booked another htl for the night before our return flight but we might change it into Couryard - I must congratulate all staff at the Courtyard by Marriott San Jose Airport. It was my first time in Costa Rica and they made me feel welcome, were very accommodating and children-friendly - my sister's children came to visit me and they loved it! The Hotel had everything I needed including a Gym and a small swimming pool. One night they even had live music!! The Hotel is also quite close to the airport; although, you could hardly hear any planes passing by.
