Very good location. It's in 5min walk from beautiful art district Tianzi Fang and in 5 minutes by taxi to club and restraunts area Xintiandi and other popular Shanghai areas. The metro station Dapuqiao (line 9) and Jiashan (line 7) are in 5 minutes by foot. There's a Tesco market in the opposite and many fast food places quite close, so it's very convenient. The price for room number is quite ok.

Near city center Low cost Great views. Nice hotel. We had a 3 bedroom family unit, which was perfect for 2 adults, and 3 kids. The living room was vast, and the beds very comfy. Tesco is just down the street, as are quite a few noodle and jaozi restaurants. Exercise room on ground floor was practical. Pool in another building. Fridge and washing machine were very practical. Even though the hotel isn't located in the center of shanghai, the area is very friendly and just besides the french- and boheme area, which is very recommendable. Rooms are big, and have seperate living room. Nice location, very close to the metro station Dapuqiao. It is a nice place, it worth going. Hotel has good facilities, such as a swimming pool, gym, TV etc. Large rooms and comfortable bed. The position is good. Close to metro stop, grocery shops, restaurants and shopping malls. The room type is great, well meet the requirements of a group of people such as friends and families. the location is good, close to everything (metro station, restaurant, markets). Price is good. And even for these money it's tooo slow. The hotel is quite old, so there's a moisture and mushroom in some numbers. We had to change the room number because of it. Staff were friendly, but very little English. Enough to get you around, but would often take a while - suggest not getting too frustrated, or bring someone that can speak chinese. Wifi was not in the room, only in the cafe in the lobby Leave some time for check out - it takes agesssssss, if you are running late already don't expect to make your plane. nothing can say. No free wifi. No thing. Some of the front desk staff were terse. Had to insist that they provide me with an electric kettle. They couldn't explain to us how to get to the pool, either. We found some expats who showed us the way. The kitchen counters were sticky and filthy. So I scrubbed them with a hand towel. Also, there were no plates to eat our morning fruit and baozi on. - Housekeeping was not good enough, dirty and didn't supply new soap and clean glasses. - Service from the staff was not 4-star worthy. - Kitchen has NOTHING! and I mean nothing. useless. Service is bad. This is a given in China, and in Rayfont is not different, most staff don't speak English - even at the front desk was hard to make yourself understood. Staff speaks limited English; dont expect too much assistance from them. Airconditioner broke down and took 2 days to get fixed. The reception is so inefficient, it took us 20 minutes to check-in and check-out as well. The swimming pool asks customers bring their own swimming cap or you are not allowed to use the facility. Staff... honestly I've found there the worst organization ever, the most of them don't understand english and they did a lot of mistakes with the invoices' issuance! Moreover, after their errors in order to solve them they were really rude, unacceptable!. Checking in and out is very slow. Too small human resource. Air conditioning does not work. Terrible staff, they are totally disorganized and rude and with really bad english . they need to understand that they are providing a service how is been pay, they are not making any favor,is that not for free . and they cant not deal with costumer with attitude and arrogance. Not helpful or efficient in anyway . the hotel is ok . only that ok, not great ... is definitely not a 4 stars hotel . They could not pull out the booking I did with letsbookhotel.com and I had to book again and pay again. There is no wifi available in this hotel, feel like get cheated (because I remember it state wifi available when I make the reservation via letsbookhotel.com), please check. They could not find reservation I made through letsbookhotel.com They tried to charge me normal full rate. Normal rate is more than two times the letsbookhotel.com rate. Unfriendly staff at the reception. Allowing rip off taxi drivers to drive their customers. Poor maintenance of the rooms. Old rooms. Poor hygiëne.
