I am a value conscious person. The price was right. Breakfast was very good for what I paid. The rooms were very quiet. If I can get similar price I will stay at travelodge east in toronto anytime in the future. In fact, I am already planning my year end 3 day vacation with the toronto east travelodge in mind. Just pure great value in toronto period!!!. Bathroom sink taps were loose, tub shower head was leaking at connection to wall, bathroom needed some serious maintenance. Room 605 door does not close automatically, so if you don't pay attention and walk out of room, doors will just automatically come to close, but not closed. needed updating. The décor is quite dated and the rug quite shabby. There was no carafe in our room which I'm sure was just an oversight. I would recommend the hotel to others with a comment on décor. Little old building but its all good. Hot tub was out of service but not a big deal. The rooms were not very clean the carpet was very dirty.There was mold on the toilet tank. Otlher than that I was very pleased with the price and service. Buffet breakfast in the morning is good, but room is too small to accommodate and only one cook to take care of all the customers. Poor lady ... location... clientele using back door of restaurant behaving suspicioisly..but we were only there one night. However, the door being used was an emergency door..someone inside kept opening it..patrons should only use the main entrance. nothing!. room facing highway. The continental breakfast room had too few seats and was almost always filled to capacity. Small rooms Cramped basin area for shaving. Did not get a room with 2 beds which was what I booked on letsbookhotel.com. cold air coming in around air conditioner. facilities are older. Small, old room with low ceilings. Comforter clean but warn. Bathroom needs to be remodeled. The installations in rooms dates back...clean bathroom but shows age.The wall air conditioning unit has to be covered to stop cold air from coming in. In the first room it was pierced (probably by guests) in the next it was absent and quickly attended to when front desk was informed. Otherwise everything was ok. Morning breakfast room to small and under stocked .. Had to wait for depleted food to constantly be brought from the kitchen resulting in frenzied attempts by guests to get food..!!. Breakfast room was too small. rug stained and not installed correctly. They charge $25 per night extra for my small 15 lb poodle. The room was very old and needs renovations, some lights were burnt out. Shower was poor, roomed smelled and they do not allow you to take continental breakfast back to your room. Pool closed was not notified of that, no microwave, room worn and tired. We stayed one night in a no smoking room but it was full of cigerette burns and the bed linen also had burns. Would not stay again. It is so dirty and there are many ants in the hotel. bed uncomfortable breakfast - not adapted for vegan people. Not too clean. Everything. from staff to facility to breakfast, housekeeping, not paying attention to the guests etc...etc.. One of my worst experience. I must be re-imburse for my stay for the poor attitude of staff. It's Different what they say.
