I loved the fact that there was appropriate space for all to manage themselves around in comfort. Also having two bedrooms and two bathrooms with sufficient closet space was excellent. And having two porches was definitely a bonus. :) The kitchen was well equipped and a good size. All in all it was a great choice for us to stay at Glen Grove Conservatory Tower. I would definitley stay there again when visiting Toronto and i will definitely recommend to friends. :) I was very pleased with our st.

After having a bit of difficulty checking in "after hours, we discovered that the guest before us had smoked in our non-smoking room so when we arrived the air was very heavy with smoke but there was no one to call about the problem at that hour. Before the office opened the next morning, the manager had called us directly to check on us and, after hearing our situation, offered relief for our situation. It has an excellent location near by the subway; it is just 2 min walk from the subway College station. It is very near to the college park where u can make shopping and eat. It is very near to eaton mall ( it is just 5 min walk). It is very convenient to a family. The apt had all equipment's we needed, dishwasher, washing machine dryer etc, there was nothing that we needed.it was close to the bus stop, in the town, mall , shops. The doorman or security at front desk gave us directions to places we wanted which was helpful. Tremendous value for the money. We had a fully equipped one bedroom apartment for less than the cost of a single hotel room. A roll-out bed was included, also washer/dryer/dishwasher. Location/pool/exercise room were superb. Parking/Internet were cheap. Very good location close to every thing as coach station, eaton mall, shops , young street and many restaurants. You can book a coach to Niagara falls , its 2 h trip , we did not use taxi at all . Even the lake was 20 min walking,. Friendly doorman, spacious apartment with dishwasher, washing machine and dryer...everything you need including dish soap, laundry soap, coffee etc. free. Walking distance to the Eaton's Center and Dundas Square. I like that it was a block from Sick Kids purpose of our stay we had every thing we needed the pool and hot tub was a bonus and it was close to grocery stores and restraunts we ha a great experiance thankyou. We were three adults, and had some space to relax, as it was a one bedroom. We like the fact it was a secure entrance. The apartment was in a great location in the centre of town. Trying to get the wireless internet connection was bit of a challenge because you had to wait for someone to call you back and being on a shopping trip you are constantly in and out of the room so we never made the connection. The exterior signage was difficult to find and the "after hours" check in was not clearly described. I called the staff to report that some of the furniture was full of dust and floor was not fully clean and she said she would send someone to clean but no one came for the five days we were there. Toilet Plumbing leaked, although they sent a plumber to fix it immediately. Hot Tub in Pool area closed , so we couldn't use it for 2 days. The vertical blinds on the windows did not block out the sun/city lights. No televisions in the bedrooms (only one in the living room). I think the suite is getting a little tired could use new furnature in the living room and bathrooms could be updated. - Some lights not working, some small maintenance issues - no safe to put passports etc. Just make sure you check in between 8 and 5 pm in vase there any issues with your booking since there is no location staff to assist. So make sure you book all additional things you require like Internet and parking prior to arriving. Your only connection to any help is a phone call or the security guard. But we needed both, and both were helpful, so I have no significant negatives about Glen Grove condo. The blonde German (I think, or maybe Eastern European) rent-a-cop that was manning the fort on our arrival (a bit stern would be an understatement.) Her resentment of the fact that we were transient guests was palpable. The two asian/middle eastern gents upon our departure were much more personable. The towels were old. The blankets were dirty. I ended up washing all the blankets for the next guest. Parking was very confusing. Did not know where to park while checking in. Better signage is needed. Balcony screen needs repaired. The elevator stopped while we were using it. Only way to communicate with hotel staff was via telephone during regular office hours. Apartment could do with a little attention-to-detail cleaning. No cutting board. :-( I had to use a plate to cut the food. Beds are not attached to the headboards and keep rolling away. floor need repair. I only have one discomfort to mention: the bed in the main bedroom should be upgraded at east to a queen or king size. The metal headboard is not secured , therefore, it bangs into the wall constantly. No welcome pack and thus a lack of information of facilities and most importantly what to do in the event of a fire alarm which did occur and we had no idea what the bleeping noise was. Noise from the adjacent demolition site Very poor selection of TV channels. Once weekly cleaning !. The door did not lock. Elevators are slow and often only one of four was working. The parking key didn't work. Not so big and not what we culd call brand new, still very decent. No staff on site, but a security guard. The level of cleanliness was subpar. The pull-out couch was not comfortable. Directions to parking garage and space limited to non- existent. Could not order Internet or parking at same time of booking. The kitchen sink plug did not fit the sink's drain. I'm afraid it wasn't particularly clean - the floor was very dusty and it needed a "deep clean" - disappointing in the middle of the season rather than at the end. It was also a bit shabby. Although this is a top notch condominium the fixtures and fittings are worn - floor tiles coming up, crumbling walls, ageing bathroom fixtures etc. Also not all the equipment worked - the CD player didnt work and the DVD player would only output black & white pictures. The rooms are managed apartments, so this is not a hotel, i.e. no staff on site, but security staff on the front desk do try to be helpful. No 24/7 staff to call for assistance like to connect for landline incoming calls from relatives, no cable connection for SPORTS ( I did not have access for the US OPEN tennis games) and no help for luggage assistance. The staff is really poor. Lack of front desk. Place could have been cleaner. Furniture and appliances were outdated. Small bed with tacky linen and coverings. very uncomfortable for sleeping Overpriced for what you get. the room we stayed in had an odd odor in the master bathroom. I had to buy spray to cover it up. The blinds on the door in the living room and blinds in the master bedroom were a mess. didn't provide privacy as were so broken up. Not up to standard shown online. We left without staying a night. We're unable to contact manager when checking in or that night to complain as office hours closed an hour after recommended check in time. The floor was realy dirty. Windows give the impression that they never washed. 2 elevators out of 4 were not working: there was a long line to elevator. Air conditioning in one room had to turn off because of the horrible smell of it. Dishwasher machine did not work: in the living room was a new machine, but during 3 days of our staying there no one came to switch it. For this price in Toronto is to find a good hotel, I regret that I have chosen this option. The building is old, furniture is old, not clean at all, they don't respond to compliants no matter how many times you call, no supervisor or maintenance in the building, you must deal with building security who really have nothing to do with the rental or services , this is one of give worst stays I ever did through letsbookhotel.com and I book dozens letterly dozens of stays every year !!!!.
