Tahir is a very gracious host and from the moment I arrived I felt right at home. The guesthouse is very clean and comfortable and in walking distance of many restaurants and markets - as well as public transportation. During my stay I enjoyed cooking dinner and chatting with Tahir and some fellow guests, and I was able to get a good night's sleep in preparation for an important meeting the next day. I would recommend the guesthouse to anyone looking for a great and affordable option in Toronto.

Book direct as Tahir will price-match whatever other sites have quoted. Warm and welcoming feel (I stayed in January). Clean and plentifully equipped kitchen. Great bathrooms with good pressure. My decision to stay here was based on the positive reviews read here. Everything you read is true. Tahir keeps this place running tip-top. Five stars. the location is quite good, and it's quiet at night and near to street car station. Host, Tahir, is a very nice person helping a lot really. The room is clean as well as washroom, and it's great to have a nice-equiped kitchen to handle our breakfast. The wifi signal is quite weak in those space near the backside of the house, but put aside this problem, everything is perfect there. Clean and really confortable. Tahir, the owner, is really kind and provided me with all useful information to visit the city. It's well located and if you like walking by the city, you're close to almost the main attractions. Anyway, you have the bus and the subway. The room have frigo, and you have grosseries around. I totally recommend and I will come back, for sure!. The price was very good for the location, and the size of the room was adequate. The owner was very courteous and easy to work with. The proximity to some of the Parliament Street restaurants was especially handy. The available parking spot was also very handy. Excellent service, kitchen an laundry facilities make a perfect home away from home. Close grocery/shopping, Ryerson U few blocks away - perfect location. Actually, there is nothing we didn't like! Some strange People outside, but didn't bother us. You have to be comfortable with staying very quiet, since noise can be easily heard by others in other rooms. The wi-fi could be a bit more reliable. it's not about the guest house but I realized that travelling Toronto in winter season is not a good choice. It's was sooooooooooooo cold. Bear in mind to spend more energy walking downtown especially during the winter. We were able to hear a lot of noise at night. Our room was next to the kitchen and unfortunately the kitchen is not the quietest place in the house. I liked everything. The floor might be old so it easily can make noise. The area around. nothing really. Everything was great. Central air vent was underneath the bed so it couldn't be felt. chair, table and floor carpet in the room could have been of better quality. way to many stairs , no near by restaurants , no map's of the city , nothing that made me welcome, no maid service ,. Not so clean towels & bed. Kitchen equipment needs an update. Quite noisy.
