It was very charming and immaculate, in a pretty, quiet setting. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the people were all quite friendly and helpful. I liked the full-sized fridge and well-appointed kitchen. Very private which was nice. The staff were super friendly helping us find beaches but mostly just left us alone. The suite was large and beautiful and clean. Would stay there again next time I am in tofino.

Second room we had, we could not control the heat. Telephones did not work. No dishwasher in the Hummingbird(?) suite. Water pressure was low, likely due to local water conservation. It took so long to fill up the soaker tub that the water got cold before the tub was full... small thing only- a coffee table in the living room to put a glass and instructions on how to operate the toaster oven- coouldn't get it to work. Noisy family next door. Walls thin. Long flight of stairs outside to reach room. Need another bathroom\toilet more mugs. two bedroom suit accomodating 4-6 persons had only one washroom. The Heron apartment was most strange - rather like staying in a school hall. The second bedroom appeared to have been created out of a utility room. For a couple of days it was OK, but if you were staying longer I would not recommend it. The bed was very uncomfortable and creaky. We got no sleep and left after the first night. We are still waiting for a refund for the unused nights. Property was not as described; 'pond' was tiny, it was not a bird sanctuary, contrary to the impression given.
