Exceptional staff. I had issues with my Visa card and front desk spent 2 hours trying to help me . And always with a smile , very personal and humane. We stayed the first week of August, so we were able to use a pool too. Nice , clean and entertaining for kids . Very clean rooms. Highly recommend . We had really good time . And location can not be better !. We like the location next to the restaurants of the Grande Allée, walking distance from the old Québec. We like the standard room which was spacious enough for us. The bed was super confortable. The bathroom was big too. The view on the old Québec.

Love Quebec City, the food and the people!!. Hotel is very nice and clean, great value for money, location is perfect on the plains of Abraham within walking distance to old city. Street is filled with bars, terraces, restaurants etc. - Beautiful view of the St. Laurent river and surroundings from the windows. - Great pool and whirlpool bath. - Pet friendly hotel with park. - Great location dowtown. I stay there whenever I am in Quebec. It is well located and the views are spectacular. The staff is particularly good. Many have been there for over twenty years. It's close to the Old Quebec. Right on the street where 'happenings' are taking place. Great area for having a drink on a patio and great eating places. The location is great for visiting the old Quebec City. The staff have excellent knowledge and the response time for any requests was immediate. To be able to go out every day all over within walking distance , for sighseeing, shopping, walking and lots of good restaurant around the hotel. First, the staff is great! Second, the location couldn't be better! I Third, great view of the city. Finally, beds are very comfortable. The beautiful river and Battlefield Gardens next to the hotel and the convenient location that was close to all attractions. The revolving restaurant/lounge was a superb location to have a meal or cocktail and enjoy the great 360 view of the city!. The staff was very friendly and bi-lingual. The restaurant was a fun feature for the kids, and the food was delicious. Loved the location and the the fact that they had staff on hand to answer question regarding Carnaval. Good pricing. It was overall good. Location. The shower was a little bit old. No wifi included with the room. The concierge at the front desk tried to make us pay for a bigger room "far from the elevator" which at the end is really not necessary. Upon arrival we were told that our spot would be noisy from the sound of the elevators and traffic. We were offered a room away from the elevator at an extra cost of $ 100.00 We would have appreciated to know about this before hand. One staff (male) at front desk was cold and had no personality - does not give a great first impression when arriving to check-in. - Long wait on our arrival to park our car. - Slow unreliable WiFi connection in the lobby. - There should be free Internet access in the room at that price. As of November the first several important services were discontinued. No one had contacted me to let me know the service level I expected was changed. The following services were no longer available, -Valet Parking -Bell hop service -Room service -Restaurant closed -Poor menu in lobby bar. I wrote the management while I was there, they have never responded -li. Too hard to answer that question. The cleaning of the room wasn't done at all, she made the beds and empty the trash cans, floor of the bathroom was full of hair (we were 4 in the room) after she finish. No dusting or changing of sheets, I was disepointed, but that's the only low point of that hotel. Housekeeping staff were not responsive. Reception staff were not able to offer better view from the room for no clear reason although some friends who checked in after us were able to get a better view from their room. Loved it all!. No complimentary breakfast with stay. The hotel itself is a little tired looking. The rooms were not clean. There was hair on the shower wall and the dust behind the bed must be at least an inch thick. There was someone elses sock on the floor against the wall that was missed when cleaning before we arrived. Way too cold in the conference rooms, had to wear a jacket the whole day and was still freezing. Gym equipment is very old. Charging a fee for wifi connection in the rooms seems pretty crass considering the rates you charge guests. "bikers" Rowdy upon arrival and stay at the hotel...not good for the young families staying a t the hotel!. Decoration somewhat dated. In need of a "make over" with new paint and carpets. There's no more valet parking,it's hard to go at the back and carry all the luggage upstairs.bad move. not enough lighting in the bathroom and also no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Lack of TV choice Paying for WiFi. miner detail, no thea facilities in the room. Please remember, that not everybody drinks coffee. that we could not leave our dog unattended. rather inconvenient for dinner. I didn't like not to be able to park my car because the room available was only for valet parking. 1 small bag disappeared from my belongings ( I had purchased a handbag and a dress) unfortunately I didn't realize I lost it until I was able to unpack at home. It is not the cost as it is the fact that from now on I can't trust the valet service. I didn't like the fact that the parking cost extra, couldn't get in to park since it indicated full. Had to tip to have my car parked that I already paid $24 a day for and it took a long time to get the car back. The restaurant upstairs is to expensive seems nice but couldn't afford it. Bathroom needs some renovations. letsbookhotel.com reservation was lost BUT Loews staff called letsbookhotel.com and sorted it out. Thanks Loews. Did not have a coffee shop type of facility. Cost of the parking...very too expensive. Have eliminated the Concierge Desk, had to wait in check in line to ask simple questions. Daily charge for wi-fi if you wanted access in your room!. They are having some $$$ problems and it's showing with the cheaper soaps. The staff is trying hard to put a smile but it's obvious that the moral is low. The fact that the restaurant on the top is closed most of the time. The computers in the business centre were so slow that I gave up using them. A few hundred dollars would go a long way here. high cost of room paying for parking poor instructions to tour bus. Price of the parkinglot. Paying for Wi-Fi. We had a family emergency and had to leave a day early and they still charged us. Even thought we left really early in the morning. elevator. Upsell pressure. They could have just given me the best too available rather than making me pay for a good room. They also took 15 minutes to find my reservation. the fact that I had to pay extra to upgrade for a better view. The original booking state that I had a view but wasn't good. The setup of the hotel not good for the money. Not a very good value for money. The hotel must be refreshed. Wifi is $14 a day. But 1. The internet service was not included which I did not like and also after I got it (not for free!), the service was so BAD! I had to call the customer service 3-4 times 15-20 min talk each time.... and even after getting connection, it was SLOW! and also I moved a table by my bed, and I had my laptop on it, every night when I came back, the table was moved back and my laptop was un-plugged!!! I did NOT like that, I could lose data!. Hotel needs a big clean up. It was Monday and we planed to go for the last visit of the city and asked the reception if it is OK to check out 2:00 pm instead of 12:00. They replayed you will be charged $50 for that. while last year we were in Delta Hotel and we checked out around 6:00 pm instead of 12:00 without any extra charging!.
