Location is excellent, right across the street from the lake and located near some great restaurant. Downtown Penticton is a very short drive away (2min) or a beautiful 15 min walk. Rooms are clean and kitchenette could be handy for longer stay. However they are somewhat small, about 4 people absolute max assuming 2 on the queen bed and 2 on the pull out couch. Pool is indoor and great. Goes all the way to about 8 foot. Both me and my girlfriend would stay here again in a heat beat and .
all reviews » We staying for three nights in a room with a kitchenette. The staff were very accommodating...moved our elderly friends who were staying in a second floor room to a first floor room when they saw them having trouble negotiating the stairs. Room was clean...well stocked with dishes, etc. A little noisy because of the courtyard arrangement but certainly not a bother. I would certainly recommend this motel...good value for the money. I love the spaciousness of the rooms and how soundproof they are. I like that they have so many outdoor barbeques available for this guests to use. The staff is not intrusive at all and are always ready and willing to help. Easy access to the beach. Comfy beds. Nice tv's. A fridge in every room is so thoughtful. Great for pop and putting take out leftovers in. I would highly recommend this motel. The location is great - just beside the beach; front desk staff was very friendly explaining the attractions of the town and providing some restaurants menus; we were also allowed to check out late; The kitchen was fully loaded, so we would not need to bring anything there. All in all, a great value for the price that we've paid, and looking forward to return next summer!. I loved that the room was so soundproof. The beds and pillows were sooo comfortable. High ceilings made it feel luxurious. The staff were courteous and very helpful. The location is amazing, just cross the street to get to the beach and restaurants are close by as well. We would most definitely stay here again!. Our stay was shortly before the Canada Day long weekend, when it was very quiet at this resort. The suite was very clean and had new carpets, updated kitchen, new air conditioner, BBQ areas for cooking in instead of having to eat out all the time. Overall a pleasant stay. My daughter and I stayed for 9 days. We loved it! Great location. The beds were so comfortable. The staff were very helpful and extremely friendly. We loved having a kitchen. You can't beat being right across from the beach. We walked everywhere. We will be back for sure!. Perfect location right across from the beach - you can go for a swim in the morning, have breakfast on the beach and then shower in your own room :) Also I feel Pentincton has the best vibe in the Okanagan region. Also enjoyed the BBQ in the court - we felt right at home!. This place is a hidden gem. Right on the beach, short walk to the casino, and downtown sector, but the best part was being 3 blocks from the events center. You get a good sized fridge in your room and the place for the price was reasonably updated. The hotel is right across the street from the beach. There's also a playground and water park a block away. The swimming pool is really warm. The kitchen was complete, and they have BBQs too. Excellent value and great for kids. The price was great. Location was great! The beds and pillows were very comfy. There was free WIFI. Plenty of very hot water for showers!!! Staff were very helpful in giving directions and dining advice. Price, location, quietness, cleanliness and security - travelling with my 16 year old daughter and we slept well at night knowing there was someone watching the courtyard (access to all rooms) all night. While everything inside is clean and towels are abundant. The plumbing was a bit old and taxed with the number of guests. During my shower it would turn very hot or cold depending if someone in the other rooms flushed the toilet or turned on there hot water. Constant adjustment needed to keep it at a safe and convenient temp . Other than that this place is PERFECT!. There was nothing that I didn't like. Nothing. Only one minor thing I didn't like and that was that the toilet paper was too hard. nothing. I guess check out at 11, I like to sleep late, but the staff phoned just after 11 and said no rush, we finally checked out a little after 12. Not much to dislike for the price - not enough electrical outlets for all the electronic equipment of today but it is an older motel. However an upgrade on the toilet paper would be nice .... the air conditioner was noisy and the carpet could use a cleaning. I just had coffee bag one day out of 5 ..the lady forgot to leave it for breakfast for 4 days. But it didn t affects my feeling about my staying in this hotel. Could use a paint job, especially on the outside as is dated looking. A bit dated, but we would stay there again. Our fire alarm went off at 3:30 am on our last night there, we smelled burning rubber, we called the front desk, who were VERY friendly, but not concerned at all, and said they would check it out in the morning. It was a sleepless night!!. Room was not well lit Bed and livingroom furniture old. The hide-a-bed was not very comfortable - could feel the springs. The pool was far too warm. bony pullout couch, beds are only doubles. None. nothing. no microwave, old coffee maker and small old mugs. Only one bag of coffee...had to ask for more. Shower changed temperature while showering. The older man who works there is rude and not friendly at all. Bedding sheets stained and had holes..blanket old. -dark room. beds were not comfortable parking was tight. The spot lights of the outside hallways flooded the bedrooms with light. No outdoor pool. The beds were a bit lopsided, but I slept well none the less. Temperature in the shower was hard to regulate. The walls were a bit thin and you could hear the people in the next room. Nothing in particular. WiFi was slow. pool was way too hot for a pool. We were a little bit disappointed when we first walked in the room, but comfort and cleanliness and price soon prevailed :). could use some updates, but can't complain much for the price. The power outage in the night, and the inconstant temperature in our room. The blankets are scratchy too. May warn people about a low clearance in the entrance for tall vehicles. Could not open any windows for any fresh air. Cleaning was a little stretched, altho we werehandled okay, and coffee in the room every day helps. would like king beds available. There was no coffee by the coffee-maker, only tea!. The haida bed was extremely uncomfortable. would have preferred 2 queen beds.
