I loved the view of the St Joseph Oratory from my balcony -- the Oratory is a few minutes' walk away: beautiful place to visit! This hotel is close to the Metro (Côte-des-Neiges station), and a brilliant Vietnamese restaurant (Pho Lien). There are also a 24-hour pharmacy and supermarket across the road, and several great fruit & veggie stores nearby, which makes it a perfect place for self-catering. It's a $40 fare to the Trudeau airport. Ok, so excellent location! My room had a nice new ba.
all reviews » Front desk was very friendly and gladly spoke English. Our room was excellent for the price. Full suite with separate bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, dining/living area, and little balcony. Hotel was very close to the metro (our form of transportation for the trip) and therefore we could go anywhere in the city really. Also the hotel was in a nice area, fairly quiet, and surrounded by little coffee shops and restaurants. We didn't need much as we were staying there for Osheaga 2013, but we we. The room was large, comfortable and clean. The staff was very accommodating. The location is out of the downtown area but is very close to the subway and other amenities such as a grocery store, liquor store and restaurants. Enjoyed our stay. the rooms were large and comfortable.The staff went out of their way to be helpful. For the price we paid we were surprised at the quality.The fact that it was two doors away from best pate and arizan bread don,t hurt. Your hotel is quiet and very well situated - close to the Oratoire and Metro stations. The breakfast vouchers were a good idea, and there are lots of good restaurants nearby. I think the hotel needs to air the rooms regularly when they're not being rented. I also hated the cheap, nasty cutlery set and lack of food cupboard storage space. There was nothing that I not like. Found everything to our liking!. The breakfast did not have many healthy choices. Would like to have more variety for breakfast. I prepaid via letsbookhotel.com, and then had to argue at checkout because they wanted to increase the rate. -Breakfast was OK but the price was right, $3.85. old furniture It would be better if TV was in the bedroom. Parking garage was cramped but good enough for my minivan. Airco extremely noisy. Air in the room very dry. Breakfast and parking. parking should be included not an extra...... Room was too warm and there was no thermostat to adjust the heat. Had to open windows. Bathtub plug did not close and could not fill tub for a bath. Had to shower instead. Shower door does not fully enclose the tub and difficult to keep bathroom floor dry. No towel bars in bathroom. The building is old and needs renovation. The balconies are structurally in bad condition. The bathroom was quite small compared to the size of the room. There were people in the hallway screaming, laughing, and having a great time - in the middle of the night. We called the front desk and they did tell these people to quiet down but, inevitably, they continued minutes after being told. We will not stay here again if that's the type of crowd that inhabits this hotel.
