It's a very smart hotel, perfect for a city trip; rooms cleverly designed for cleanliness. Fridge in room, and computer (+ wi-fi) - and although it failed to start initially, this only demonstrated the efficiency of the staff who got it going within 5 mins. Excellent location for metro, shopping, and eating out. (Try Brit et chips, just 5 mins away - rather superior fish & chips.) And not expensive for this quality in Montreal. Relatively late checkout, too.

These are the reasons I would come back. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. We were travelling with our infant son and the junior suite was perfect for us and the included breakfast was good -a good selection of healthy options. Location at the congress centre, close to old montreal and st. catherines. Modern rooms. Great continental breakfast with lattes:). Secure feeling with keyed elevator access. Environmental initiatives. Lovely modern bathroom and spacious bedroom. There was a laundry room with no charge for washer or dryer and it was locked so laundry was safe to leave. The location was fine. The breakfast was nice. Free wifi everywhere. Location of course, a short walk to everything, old Montreal - shopping - underground station - the bus stop to the airport. Love the high-end finishes, the hardwood-laminate floors, glass shower cabin, heated bathroom floors, large fridge, safe, electric blinds. Staff is super friendly. Really liked the front desk staff & cleanliness of the hotel. The location was so convenient to shopping, restaurants & especially the convention centre. The room was nice with a King Size Bed. Two decent chairs, and a good view, a fridge, and a good size wardrobe and drawers. - Computer in every room. - Slot to place room card to keep lights on (so they won't stay on if you're not there). Right next to the conference center and near old city. Good breakfast and free wi-fi was a nice perk. Nice design hotel, not too big, quite zen, very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine once, but would be boring for a longer trip; fridge in a cupboard whose doors opened the "wrong" way - but then many hotels at this price don't have a fridge, or breakfast, so I'm being pedantic really. The front desk girl who worked in the evening had no personality, not helpful, not knowledgeable. The daytime fellow should give her lessons. Not a big deal but the Internet was very slow on computer. Lastly, bed was not that comfortable. I woke up sore. No snack and/or meal options with the exception of breakfast and the limited supplies at the front desk. Shower head was a little weird and I had to hold it to get access; water pressure was good though and I liked the faucet system on it. Location was a bit iffy. Near Westin hotel very posh but one block makes a difference. TV was limited for an English speaking. Mattress a bit too hard, could provide a mattress pad in the wardrobe cabin. The old haunted place next door, we walked by it daily. We realize the hotel cannot control this. The bathroom, especially the shower was a little dark with no light in the shower. The fridge door, and the cupboard the fridge was in, opened the wrong way and made it a bit awkward to access. - Only had French language installed. - Light card reader was lose and lights kept going off. - No fan in the bathroom. The breakfast room is a little on the small size, and the breakfasts were nothing amazing, some variety though with fresh fruit, yoghurts, croissants etc and the usual weak coffee. Limited lightning in the shower, but that makes it more romantic :). There is nothing we didn't like - friendly, good value hotel in a neat spot. No parking. No parking, had to park in the Convention Center garage. the lift key (often didn't work); the breakfast too "normal" with awfull jam, bread to pick up from bags,. noisy door, dark bathroom. I got rooms facing street at ground floor. During dusk time was a little noisy, but it was quieter during night and dawn. Wished there was a pool. No towel bars in washroom. No cleaning after 4th night. One blind did not work. breakfast was very poor only bread & jam not to much of a choice.
