The staff was amazing. We traveled to the hotel for a weekend away for our daughter's 16th birthday and went for the Justin Timberlake concert. We found out once we got there he had postponed the concert and it basically ruined the whole mood for the weekend. We had driven 600 km to see the concert and stay in the city to shop and the ticket company had not informed us that the concert was postponed. We enjoyed a night at the hotel and tried to make the best of it.
all reviews » My husband and I were travelling with our daughter, her husband, toddler and baby and the hotel was very accommodating to our needs and provided us with adjoining rooms as requested. The pool was a hit with our grandson. The hotel is beautiful, close to everything and the spacious rooms are incredible. the water of the pool is great ( not too cold) and the kids really loved it. Will certainly go back to this hotel. - Staff; - The restaurant is nice and cosy, the food is excellent and the menu varied; - spa / swimming pool / gym excellent. well maintained, clean. - the hotel is modern overall and enjoyable. Nice and new hotel with a large and clean room. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was included but could be better. Location was convenient due to proximity of subway and railroad station. Brand new hotel so everthing is new. Temperature in the hot tub was boiling the first night and staff took immediate action to correct. The pool was great. I loved the hotel, it was gorgeous and not pricey. The staff was awesome and the restaurant was decently priced. I would definitely stay there again. It was a great hotel. If provide hot pot for tea is perfect. The lobby and restaurant to the side of the lobby are beautiful with many floor to ceiling windows but it is a VERY cold area. Even my husband had to keep his coat on at dinner and breakfast and that is unusual to say the least - he is never cold. Location was okay for tourists - perfect for business travel though. no bath tube in bathroom. Low garage door. Didn't like the mattress. Our backs were soar after waking up. Also we found the room small. It was clean and well decorated though. No bathtub in room. Concierge sent us to a completely wrong restaurant than we had asked for. Housekeeping had made out room up poorly exp. Kleenex box empty and glasses left empty and dirty. A wake-up call for house keepeing (non-requested) on my last day of stay at the hotel. Food and especially service in the restaurant. If you not facing the old city, the room has no view at all and there is a lot of noise from the main street. Value for money was below 0 in my standards.
