The staff were exceptionally accommodating. I never experienced that before. I was in a desperate need for sleep my check-in wasn't until 4pm and I was there at 6am. They found me an available room at a higher room rate but gave me the same rate I had booked at. I was participating in the Ironman Mont-Tremblant 70.3 and they gave all the athletes a late check-out of 2pm. I checked out past 3pm and not a word was said by them. I am booked there for the Ironman in August!.
all reviews » The hotel is first class - all that you need at your fingertips. The room was clean and bed very comfortable. Room included all that is required, such as bathrobes, toiletries, great coffee, wine glasses etc. What made our stay at this hotel memorable was the staff -they were amazing!. Location: unbeatable Facilities: outdoor swimming pools, outdoor therapeutic pools, cold and whirpools, Services: smooth and efficient care of ski and skiing equipments, drinks at pool. Members of President Club allowed to stay in pools after check-out. The location was perfect-for winter sports, dining, shopping. Concierge set up great dining reservations as well as dog sledding, for us. Staff super friendly. female bartender and waitress in the windigo bar were very friendly and easy to talk to. Valet personnel very helpful and courteous. Fairmont's restaurant is absolutely good! Very nice and delicious buffet on saturday night. Loved the outside pool and spa. Friendliness of the Staff Luxury of the Hotel Prime location; very close to the village Amazing Facilities and Amenities. I am a generally a thrifty person so staying at the Fairmount was splurging a bit but I do not think the extra money was worth it. Location. Nothing - highly recommended hotel. No Children Size Robes. The room (2 doubles) was a bit tight for two adults and two children (6 and 11). That being said-we loved it so much we are going back in a few weeks. front desk personnel - not so great, just okay. I found that $300 per night and not including breakfast is a bit expensive. We had difficulty with the tv - had the remote replaced but no improvement - could not get it to work properly. - so gave up. Asked maid for more coffee but it was not provided: lamp between beds did not work. Attitude of some of the staff. Beware of gratuities added to bill 15/20% without authority. Valet parking supposed to be indoor at the cost of 24dollars per day, but car actually parked outside. Don't take it. Cabinets in bathroom were beat up, chipped, cracked. No place to get a coffee at 7 am on a Saturday. a breakfast buffet combo with the room would have been nice - a bit more openly gay friendly would be good.. a sticker or a notice of some sort, an acknowledgement.. The IT availability was mixed: Excellent LAN in-room, fair WLAN at some points, but huge "holes" (non-coverage) of WLAN in many places (only some times ok in-room, hardly WLAN available in restaurant). This does not correspond to the otherwise given standard, thus resulting in negative rating (only "fair"). accessability preferable kitchenette rooms ,for double bed room prices. pool did not have enough long chairs for everyone & staff were too lazy to help (young & I do not care attitude).. does not fit with the rest of the experience of the hotel itself. Expensive for what it was, food pricing was ridiculous, adult hot tub should be open until at least 12 am. Breakfast not included but room service breakfast was a nice indulgent treat. Price too expensive for overall quality of accommodations in my humble opinion. I asked many weeks in advance for a view of the fall foliage from our room but the view was definitely lacking. We would have been better placed in a room facing the lake rather than what amounted to mostly a bland hill (almost no trees) behind us. There is only valet parking available there for $21/day. There is free parking at the bottom of the hill in a public parking area about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Maid service in cleaning the room was really poor, very dusty and floor not hoovered well. We came back most days and if the bed was not made it did not look like the room had been cleaned. I had to ask on a few occasions for them to come back and clean the room. arrived very tired none of the children's beds were made up and the bed that was put into the room did not fit we had to take 4 bits of furniture out, real nightmare, and the staff did not help!!!!.
