The room was very comfortable, and loved the jaccuzi after a long travel time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When they found out we had a long waiting time, they offered us our room for an extra 2 hrs., which was very much appreciated. We had the opportunity to eat in the restaurant twice, and again we found the staff excellent and the food was very good. Definitely got your money's worth. We also really appreciated the complimentary airport/hotel shuttle, with a very helpful driver.
all reviews » My wife and I stayed here before a two-week trip of ours, and chose it due to its a) proximity of the hotel to the airport, and b) the outdoor pool. It was raining so we didn't use the pool, but got to use the free shuttle which was great (and leaves every twenty minutes to every terminal). The hotel was great, comfy, and had a delicious well priced room service breakfast. Great place and would definitely stay again! And well priced too. Location for what I was doing worked out great, Room was very large and comfortable. 2 modern size TVs .. bedroom and sitting area. Massive work area Bathroom was a good size with a large modern shower Complimentary apple was a nice touch at check in after a day of flying. We liked the shuttle service to the airport, access to internet, friendly staff, nice restaurant. We also stayed at a Hilton Garden Inn in Fort Myers. It was excellent, especially the food in restaurant and exceptionally friendly staff. the suite is comfortable - has all I needed, the bed is great, Wi-Fi has good, strong signal, Sauna was THE reason I booked Hilton Airport Hotel, shuttle as very appreciated. In general - very pleasant. very convenient for overnight with an early flight the next morning. there is a free shuttle bus leaving from hotel to the airport each 20min. Room was clean and comfortable. Liked use of computers in lobby. Parking is convenient and you can leave your car. Arrived quite late at night and were upgraded to a suite. Really nice. Helpful staff and free airport shuttle. loved the comfortable beds unforturnately do to a family emergency we checked in late and left early. Easy access to Airport Terminal. You did have to ask for information as the staff did not volunteer any. Location as we arrived in Toronto late evening and were tired from our cross country trip. The bad weather but nothing you can do about that. Sound Isolation extremely poor. Staff were up and down the hall way, yelling and slamming the doors till 4am. Also, I love folklore, but not at 6:30 am in a main lobby. Front desk didn't have change for a twenty. Couldn't tip the shuttle driver or get a toonie for the airport cart. Not a lot of parking space available. Rooms are not sound proofed so you can hear the airport noise although it wasn't too bad. TV picture not very good. ac noisy, walls paper thin and tvs are wall mounted so you hear everything when the volumes up. The shower in my room did not work,if you could hold up the plunger by hand ,or your toe ,you could shower..did not know this till 0300am when we had to get moving for the airport.When I went down to the front desk, they said ,sorry, that's all..I Would have appreciated a discount for next visit and this would encourage me to stay there again.. My husband found the basin a bit small for shaving. Only one armchair. No shave adaptor. Nothing. Nothing, they were great. Elevators were broke and to slow. We slipped to the airport to drop off some relatives and the cleaning staff was in our room when we came back to sleep some more. So that was awkward. Since our bags were still there, we obviously hadn't left yet. Only stayed for a quick sleep (6 hrs total time) between flights. Not enough mirrors in room - need another in room itself. parking lot too far from hotel. All pillows were exceptionally soft. A choice of softness to harness would be better. TV remote didn't work and had to be replaced - no answer when rang front desk. expensive room service for breakfest. none. Nothing. nothind. Lack of places to eat. Room did not look like picture. You can't get free Internet in the rooms unless you are an honors member. I can get free Internet in the cheapest motels!. No free wireless in rooms. We found the bed arrangements very awkward. The $16 charge for the movie seemed excessive for a movie we could watch for free on the plane. Our linens and towels had a grey tired look to them and I wondered about their cleanliness. We were disappointed in our room, it was listed as a corner room and it wasn't plus we figured we would be on an upper floor and we were only on the 4 th floor. We're not sure if letsbookhotel.com misled us or if the hotel was miss leading. Either way we were disappointed. The wing I was staying in was very outdated and there was nobody to help with my luggage (I had 2 suitcase and 2 bags). the pool was not very clean. There are 2 towers North and south. The north tower is older and needs renovating. We were shown our first suite in the north tower . It reeked of smoke and so we refused to stay ,after seeing a2nd suite in the north tower and declining it we were shown a regular room in the south tower which we accepted as it was much more up to date and fresh Do not stay in the north tower!. Poor parking arrangement, $16 for customer parking is a big turn-off. Will stay elsewhere next time because of this. this is a 'non smoking' hotel... but, our room smelled distinctly like cigarette smoke. The room service meal I had was not good. Exercise room, sauna were out of date. Room was clean but heavily used. All the addons, $18. for parking and $13. for internet. Only one of tree elevators working...called room service for breakfast at 10:45 a guy answeres says he is in the elevator will call right back didn't happen...called again at 11:15 same guy says to busy to call back he was stuck on the floor said he could take our order but could take a half to tree quarters of an hour I said forget it as check out is at 12:00. We didn't receive anything we had requested for when we had booked the room upon checking in. The front desk staff were very unfriendly, and non cooperative. The restaurant staff as well...over all i will never stay with you guys at all and have pass this on to a few of my travelers friends.
