  This is a 12 room family run hotel on large forested property right on 12 mile Lake. It has its own boat dock. It is Adults Only. 10 of the 12 rooms have beautiful lake views. Other larger tows withi - Conny and Arend, the owners/operators are absolutely the nicest people! They made us feel welcome and were very attentive to all their guests without being intrusive in any way. The grounds are beautiful and relaxing. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. Breakfasts were delicious, generous portions, and enjoyed while watching the birds and squirrel just beyond the deck.

The owner even hangs out with the guests in the evening when he can, and he was our waiter the first night we were there (it's always nice to know that an owner is willing to do the same work as the staff).   The atmosphere was nice. We went up north to be in nature and wildlife and that's what we got. The rooms were huge and clean and comfortable. I felt like I was in my own bed which rarely ever I can say.   The host, Bob is just a delight and his meals are outstanding. Accommodations were wonderful (love the bed!) and we loved floating down the river (right in front of the B&B) on our noodles.   Awesome motel just off the beaten path. My 4 year old son and I stayed here and enjoyed canoeing in the pond and playing at their park. The pool looked great, we just didn't have time to use it. The owners were awesome and recommended a dinner and breakfast place in town, both of which were great. Would definately recommend this motel to anyone looking for a good value for your money! - Staff very personable. Aware purpose of visit was funeral of a friend and sensitive accordingly. Provided good info on where to eat in Minden. We did not have an opportunity to check out their facilities extensively nor the area (hence unable to answer some of above questions). I would use the motel again. It was very close to Minden (which is a pretty town).
