This hotel was so wonderful to go to after being in hotels in Europe for 3 weeks! The size of our room was wonderful!!!! The hotel was very clean and modern and the room was well stocked with everything we needed. Ex. Coffee maker, microwave, fridge, 2nd sink, desk, chair and ottoman, flat screen tv, safe, even an actual closet for your coat and shoes. Lol This hotel was perfect to arrive to after a very long flight, we went to the restaurant/bar, and had a very relaxing evening. The bathroom h.
all reviews » The staff were excellent, especially the young man on reception who checked us in. He was so helpful, courteous and good humoured. Nothing was too much trouble, he is an absolute credit to the company. Our room was very comfortable and clean with everything you could want for a comfortable stay. Shuttle service was excellent. Restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was very good, many choices and plentiful. I liked the upgrade from a queen to a beautiful king with a fireplace. The girl at the desk was amazing! She asked us if we would like a wake up call, if we wanted a breakfast to go in the morning and offered us a snack when we were done checking in. The shuttle service was perfect and our driver was very friendly!!. Great for staying overnight before flight out of Calgary. Clean, nice staff, with breakfast. They picked us up at the airport so we could drop off our car rental the night before and then took us back to the airport the next morning. Restaurant onsite was good although noisy as it is in the lobby of the hotel. I really enjoyed the room we selected. We had a suite with a king bedroom and a two way fireplace. We really liked the design set up of the suite with the TV that could be seen on either side of the fireplace. The kitchenette was clean and well stocked for what we needed. Large, comfortable room with relaxing sofa, foot rest, coffee brewing machine with replacement coffee every day, TV, hair dryer, Iron stand with iron, free local calls and large cupboard for clothes. This is second time we stayed in this hotel when flying in to Calgary Airport and we highly recommend it. We were surprised by the quality of the food - we were not very hungry and asked to share a few dishes, which were then split served on individual plates by a very charming waitress. All around it was impressive. Friendly and helpful staff,the shuttle service was excellent.Breakfast was great and so was the evening meal. The rooms were beautiful, clean and quiet,comfy bed. Also we loved the location, would certainly recommend it. We hope to return. The staff were extremely helpful. Whenever we had questions they took time to accurately describe the location of the venue we were looking for. My granddaughter loved to choose an apple each day we stayed at the hotel. She also enjoyed the slide at the pool. I really liked the location of the hotel - very close to highway towards Edmonton, Sherwood Park, where I'm from .. easy access... liked the friendly service, the pool, waterslide. And the whole atmosphere of the hotel, room was great, beautiful. This is was our second stay within the month and this experience was no different from our first! We arrived early and accessing our room was not a problem. Rooms are great, beds comfy and the breakfast omelet station is delicious!!. Location to the airport. I will use Best Western again if i require a room at the airport again. For my short stay used the airport shuttle.they where quick to response which was great.hotel staff where helpful and pleasant.Had a bite to eat at the hotel,food was good also. After having dinner there we opted not to have breakfast the following morning at that location. The restaurant area feels a bit basic or utitarian but it serves it purpose. The only thing I was sure about was the restaurant menu - you have "Fiesta ...can't remember the next word" ... which is suppose to be for nachos but there is no "tortilla chips, or anything mentioned that would mean that... so wasn't sure... thought maybe it was bruschetta, or something else... so, that could have been clearer... spent quite a few minutes trying to figure that one out... but, everything else was great... server was very courteous, and explained when we asked about menu. Nothing to complain about at all - couldn't find anything the first stay, happy to report the same!!. Was a lot of kids (very family friendly) so breakfast room was a bit of a mess and very loud. nothing. that our flight was before the complimentary breakfast was available. The consolation was a boxed snack of a muffin, drink, and fruit. The bar/restaurant had no vibe - felt really stark and lonely, and the menu items seemed mostly pre-prepared - (i.e. open a bag of pulled pork, micro- wave it and put it on a bun. Add some fries and voila!. I inherited of a mouth wash already used by the previous guest. The coffee maker wasn't cleaned. Near airport, hence far from the city. You would need car to go anywhere. It was somewhat removed from other amenities. Airplane noise. Room service system - collect your own!. The staf for the diner just gives you something whatever they make. Not what you order. Too bad !. The mysterious additional charges on our credit card of over $500 which the hotel can't explain.sent them copies of our Visa showing charges and they can't explain them . advised us to put in a dispute with Visa...Just Great!!. no movie stations ie: pay per view. too much furniture in the rooms always bumping into something. Light sleepers might find their slumber disturbed by early morning or late night take-offs and landings. Very close to airport. We didn't find anything we didn't like. Location, not close to much but not the hotels fault. No room service from restaurant or at least it wasn't listed in the information guide in the room. When you book on line you can't get parking for acouple weeks while you are on holiday. Extra coffee ended up as decalfe, not our favourite. Restaurant was understaffed.
