I've stayed at this hostel on 3 or 4 occasions over the course of the last 3.5 months or so, and I've had a good experience each time. The beds are comfortable, the showers have lots of hot water, the price is right, the internet connection is pretty good, it is always pretty quiet, which is good if -- like me -- you have important work to do on your laptop at night. all reviews » Probably the best location you can imagine! Even though it was in the busiest area in the city centre it was quite peaceful during the night. Outside the hostel - beautiful view of Vitosha Mountain, nice bars and shops just a step away. Would definately reccommend it. Very comfortable stay, very friendly and helpful staff . this was a wonderful way to experience Sophia on a budget. The breakfasts were fabulous, the best part of my day. Amazing high tech security system - Levitt is the most safest place in Sophia. I very much enjoyed my night here. The receptionist was very helpful, and the rooms were very clean! The close proximity to the metro station was wonderful. The bar was a great communal space to meet people. I would stay again!. YHA Levitt Hostel was an amazing hostel with a very fun atmosphere. If i go to Sofia again, I am sure i will stay at here. the hostel doesn't seem really an hostel for backpackers (it is too organized) and the people inside doesn't actuate like backpackers (they don't saluate, speak,...). Beds were hard. Might want to add foam. No a huge fan of the city Sofia. Rooms are located on the 3rd floor without elevator. I can't think of anything.
