nioce hostel,great building,nice people. helpful, welcoming and attractive staff. keine Sperstunde. more clean please..it's delapidated. drunk receptionist. Nothing liked! It was terrible, a nightmare!! It is a miserable placewith sheaf-staffs!! They got down quite big deposit from my bank-countat reservation-occasionally what they asked again and after a longargument was accepted. They rented our booked-rooms for death-drunkpeople because of our teenegaer daughters had to sleep with them.Thehotel is very shabby, in bath are cockroachs.

The hostel serves a free breakfast that is available until late. The breakfast includes Bulgarian yoghurt, feta cheese, eggs, fruits/vegetables, muesli, honey, jams as well as tea and coffee.

There is a Bulgarian restaurant adjoining the hostel. It provides an English menu and is open 24 hours. There is also a fully equipped guest-kitchen in the hostel.

Information about the area

Sofia is the capital city of Bulgaria. The city is located in the southern part of the Sofia valley and at the foot of the mountains Vitosha and Lyulin. Founded seven thousand years ago, Sofia is the second oldest city in Europe.

There are a number of monuments that have been preserved, such as the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Public Theatre Ivan Vazov, the Palace of Justice and the churches St.George and St.Sofia. In Sofia there is the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the Public Library, as well as theatres and museums.

The city has several beautiful parks and has views of the Vitosha mountains.

The hostel offers different rooms types. For guests who choose to stay in the mixed dormitory bunk beds are provided. They are equipped with curtains to allow for extra privacy.

Private rooms and apartments for up to 3 people are also available.

From the Airport: - Take bus 84 or 284 - Get off at the last stop at Vassil Levski blvd. From the Central Bus & Train stations: - Take trams 1 or 7 for 6 stops - Get off at Vitosha blvd.
