  Clean, comfortable, modern, efficient and very good value. No character but we didn't need that in Bandar. Perfect when you arrive from the plane (25BD taxi) and don't want any hassle. Above all - the very best location to see the capital as right next to the river and local market (and also bus station). Would certainly go back there as the best ... what people say » base to visit Bandar and surrounds. - We loved the position - close to market, Mosque, proboscis monkeys, cheap and good local cafes, museums, etc. a nice touch was the free minibar. We also enjoyed the complementary shuttle to Gadong night market. The Malay Technology Museum was close by local bus (no 39) and was great.

  The staff, nothing was to much trouble, they were always very very pleasant & polite. I had booked a room facing the city, & when we arrived were given a room facing the garden, I mentioned this to our very wonderful "bell boy", he then went away &came back & said that we had been upgraded to a front room at no extra cost,wonderful... what people say » service, no hesitation whatsoever. The food was always presented beautifully & once again waitress & waiters were exceptional. We had laundry - Modern, clean bed room, comfortable bed set, toiletries, DVD player, Cable TV were provided. Drop-off and pick-up service to town but need booking and planning. It was reliable. Swimming Pool was a bit small but nice place to swim Nice BF. It was great for tea lover since a lot of choice of tea to taste.

  We liked everything about this hotel - value for money - great breakfast - plenty of local and fast food eateries close by - two easy walking distance small mall type places to shop. Hotel staff were as good as they come - just ask and they will help as much as possible. We loved the pool and the hotel cafe.   The accessibility of the hotel to the airport. I have stayed a couple of times in the hotel and both were splendid experience for me. I would definitely stay again, especially when I am with my family. - spacious, elegant ambience. Walking distance to local shopping centre and food outlets. Good for airport stopover though not close.
