The staff, nothing was to much trouble, they were always very very pleasant & polite. I had booked a room facing the city, & when we arrived were given a room facing the garden, I mentioned this to our very wonderful "bell boy", he then went away &came back & said that we had been upgraded to a front room at no extra cost,wonderful service, no hesitation whatsoever. The food was always presented beautifully & once again waitress & waiters were exceptional. We had laundry.
all reviews » Modern, clean bed room, comfortable bed set, toiletries, DVD player, Cable TV were provided. Drop-off and pick-up service to town but need booking and planning. It was reliable. Swimming Pool was a bit small but nice place to swim Nice BF. It was great for tea lover since a lot of choice of tea to taste. Excellent food, friendly staff, very helpful! Great communication from all staff, Free refreshing cold drinks in foyer, a relief in Brunei humidity. Stayed in smoke free floor, very nice. Top tip - hire a local guide and unless you are a devout Muslim, never go on a Friday as everything other than the mosques are shut. Another typical example of what you get when staying at a chain hotel: efficient, serious, slightly boring!. Being woken up by the next door neighbours snoring!!! At two o'clock in the morning. Grrrr. Traffic was a bit jam in rush hours right hotel front road. Pool closed a little early, a swim after a hot days touring would be great. Men's shower room outside near pool was a little grubby, dirty floor....rest of complex was great, very clean. Nothing. Noise from the air conditioner machine outside when the window was open.( but not a problem with the window closed. Nothing. Breakfast should have been included. We had booked this hotel many months before our stay on the letsbookhotel.com site but when we booked in we were extremely surprised to find out that if we had booked just a few days or weeks prior we would only have had to pay half of the prices. Very disappointed with the cost difference . And we didn,t even get breakfast included in the price!!!. Swimming pool was very small and uncomfortable. Not enough smoking facility. Pool Area is small. Pool area is a bit small. Nothing. nothing [perhaps the phone account]. Wifi is unstable, hard to connect the hotel wifi. The shower does not have a door and the water spill out to the whole bathroom. nothing. No coffee shop near by as well as convenience store. Nothing i did not like. I booked this hotel because the site said it had baths in the bathrooms, but there was only a shower. Pool a bit small. Breakfast too expensive. none. The pool area at the hotel looked very nice - but was shut all the time we were at the hotel. Possibly a hint of a tendency to presume they are a palace without having, by far, the class it takes to deserve the title!.
