The location was great, with a stunning view across the city and the perfect place to explore the Santa Teresa district and the historic city. Everything in the hotel was superb. Of course it is a bit expensive, but you are really treated like you "own the place".
The staff is just perfect. The hotel is basically a beautiful old house, with a brazilian decoration of its finest taste, and a breathtaking view of the city. Rooms are clean and classy. Just remarkable. We highly recommend it

The location is great. Every thursday and friday night, in the small square near the hostel, there is a spontaneous gathering of neighbors. It's a fantastic opportunity to meet the locals, drinking beer and speek portuguese. We had a very good time there.
The staff is very friendly and you feel safe all the time.
