  There was nothing that we disliked about the hotel. Personally we prefer to be "off the beaten track" which this hotel was. It was just oustide the city centre but on the tour bus route. The bus to the Central Station 100m fromthe hotel.   We choose to stay in the Marriott because we could have a one bedroom apartment, it is useful to have a kitchen plus a separate living room for when our toddler is in bed. It was easy to check in and out next door at the Renaissance, staff were very pleasant and efficient. A cab stand was a block away, and often cabs were in front of the Renaissance. The neighborhood was interesting, quiet, unthreatening, and convenient to Brussels attractions.

  I would definitely recommend the place for everyone who is looking for a good place to stay in Brussels. The room feels very relaxing, a huge bed, small but very useful things at hand, like coffee and tea, plus it is located very close to the Louise shopping area and the metro station. As for the slightly sloping road to the studio and the lack of elevator, one expects that in Brussels where there - Excellence! We are at awe with Brussels. Compared to most cities we have been to throughout Europe, we have found it to be the cleanest. If we had known how pretty Belgium is, we would have stayed longer. My mom and I aren't difficult to please. But I must say when we found the kitchen truly equipped, the space extremely clean, and the bed comfortable, we felt home. We wondered how we were so lucky. The hairdryer and coffee was a bonus. When we return, I hope this space is available. We highly
