Extremely efficient - we arrived late on a Sunday and everything was laid out at reception ready for us - just pick up the key and go to the room!!!! Marvellous. The Hotel is right in the middle of the tourist area, just puuuurrrfect. Be concious that this is not a 5 star hotel, it is quite basic but has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Regina was perfect and the breakfast superb. Recommended particularly ifyou are touring the balllefields due to it,s superb location.

We went to visit WW1 sites so it was very well located and it's opposite the In Flanders Fields Museum.Location, price, breakfast and cleanliness were excellent. Hotel was right in the centre of town, surrounded by good restaurants and very close to the Menin Gate Memorial. I would go back there tomorrow. I cannot say the same for Koffieboontje in Bruges and the Armada Canal in Amsterdam - both of which I also stayed in and also booked them on LetsBookHotel.com. The staff there were fab. The guy at the front desk couldn't do more for me. He informed me of local sites and attractions, got bus taxi train times to get to these places. This saved me so much time and effort when I had limited time in such historical packed place. It's central location made it a breeze to negotiate all attractions.The hotel staff were very professional and helpful. The hotel is usefully central in Ypres. Excellent hotel. Although there was no parking at the hotel, parking in the square was ok as long as you remember to pay beforehand if the car is still going to be parked after 9am the next morning.I paricularly liked the location, it was excellent. Even though there was no paking at the hotel there was plenty cheaply available nearby. The hotel was well-maintained and clean. We parked for free in a residential street near to the hotel. No off-street parking.I thought the breakfast was limited compared with others of similar price we have stayed at.The lift was a little claustrophobic. I loved the Regina but disliked both the Koffieboontje and the Armada Canal intensely. I would not go back to either of them. They have not got the standard of a hotel at all and in fact I was told in the Armada that a two star hotel was only "just a step up from a hostel" - well I do not agree - they should visit the Regina in Ypres (Ieper - Belgium).It was a struggle to find the light switch on the way up the dark stairs, and this caused us difficulty - twice!. I would really like to be able to boil a kettle and make a cup of tea in the comfort of my room when I am travelling. In England and other places you can do this.hotel stuff dont help with luggage. elevator too small and rickety. The bathroom was a bit small and smelt a bit when we first arrived, but once aired out it was fine. The room was small but not unlike many other European hotels. My wife thought a hairdryer should have been provided. Shower leaked too much onto bathroom floor. Odd smell in (non-smoking) single room, maybe carpet needed a clean?. parking space. Traffic noise!. Broken tiles on bathroom floor.Breakfast was poor,very little choice even by continental standards. No car park.Parking is a problem . Room was not very clean. The shower didn't work.
