Very clean comfortable rooms. Staff were friendly and courteous. Everything was fine and I do recommend the hotel. The hotel was excellent during my stay. . friendly and helpful staff. staff were great. Thought the bedding and towels looked really white and clean. The room was very big and very clean; excellent to be able to watch BBC1 as well! Breakfast was good, but only continental breakfast of course!. How close it was to the highway...making it the perfect hotel to see all of Belgium.Size of room and bathroom; wifi access. Just what was needed for breaking the journey. The room size was large and much appreciated for this class of hotel. The hotel was great and the staff too, the room was spacious with a cool tv. you had the possibility to navigate on internet in your room through the tv at 7 euros for the whole day. it was very clean and silent. parking facilities, big room, friendly staff, breakfast better than previously. Did'nt really like the car park charge, it would be acceptable if the hotel was in the city centre but where it was situated did'nt think it was necessary.Internet access unclear, minor point. Quality of breakfast was in general not "impressive", in particular poor quality of coffee and juices. The breakfast. The design of the room was such that you had no enclosed wardrobes - its all open. But other than that, very good. Also, quite far out from Gent. St Pieters Station is a 20 minute walk away, but that does include crossing over a busy motorway on a flyover with no pavement! Much better if you have a car.Needs a swimming pool and at least a queen size bed standard in the room. Breakfast limited; access to town centre by public transport only twice hourly (given wrong time of bus at reception). The smell of the room. the only bad thing is that the room was really too hot!!!. double bed too narrow; the hotel has to look for a new cook: we have been coming for 4 years now to this hotel around the same period of the year and the buffet has never changed, the food is overcooked and lacks imagination; consequently we even refrain from trying out the regular menu; no decent restaurant in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Breakfast buffet too limited.Breakfast was qiute bad, but on the other hand, included in price. Location good for business and travellers with own cars. Too far from town, and hotel set evening meal was mediocre. the parking is not free and I stay most of the time in gent but had to pay for the night, not fair. Distance from centrum; breakfast. The location is close to some factories and the smell can be unpleasant some times.The TV/Computer was un usable and did not work well. Did not like the internet connection. AC in one of our rooms did not work. You should inform about the parking fee.no everything was oke. I request for a non smoking room and I got a smoking room. The restaurant was fully booked by cyclist so I couldn't eat there.the factory next to the hotel was quite noisy on early morning, but it didn't disturd me to much. There was no swimming pool, no gym, no warm eggs for breakfast.Yes the way restaurant staff treating customers very impolite and have no consideration to people staying at the hotel. Because of their attitude after having my first meal I stopped having any more meals for the 5 nights I stayed. I had to go to the town to have a proper meal. breakfast below average in comparison to the rest of the facilities on offer and parking is an additional cost (8 euros) although the website makes no mention of a charge! It would have been cheaper to simply book a hotel closer to the centre.Overly expensive. The restaurant was particularly poor, with over-priced poorly prepared and presented food that was pretentious. The choice was very limited.

Lunch is served from 12.00 - 14.30; dinner from 18.30 - 22.00. Bar De Lieve is perfectly fitted for a short meeting, a pre-dinner drink or a relaxing night cap before going to bed. Open on weekdays from 08.00 - 01.00; on weekends from 10.30 - 01.00.

Opening hours Brasserie D-LYS on weekdays: - The bar area is open from 08:00 - 23:00; - The restaurant opens for lunch from 12:00 - 14:00 and for dinner from 18:30 - 21:30. From KORTRIJK/ LILLE /FRANCE (E17 motorway): Follow direction ANTWERPEN (E17) and take the exit nr 9, H-UZG.

From CALAIS/ OSTEND (E40 motorway): Follow direction BRUSSEL (E40) At the crossing of the E40 and the E17 motorways, follow the direction ANTWERPEN (E17) and take the first exit nr 9, H-UZG.

From ANTWERP/ NETHERLANDS (E17 motorway): Take exit nr 9, H-UZG on the E17. This exit is situated just after exit Gent-Centrum.
Turn left over the bridge. You will see the hotel on your right hand side.

By Public Transport: All trains from Antwerpen, Brugge, Brussels, Kortrijk, Oostende, ... stop in Gent's central railway station Gent-Sint-Pieters. Take the main exit and take bus 65 towards GROOTHANDELSMARKT which stops just across the hotel car park. Ask the driver specifically to have the bus stop there. From the bus stop, it's just 100 meter to the hotel entrance.
