All the staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were of high standard and quality and very clean and big. Very clean and secure. Very close to the train station and the International convention centre. Everybody was kind, helpful and everything was very good. The staff was very welcoming.everything was perfect. The staff were very helpful. Although it appeared quiet at reception, there was in fact always someone within seconds of pressing the bell for attention. Near Gent St. Peters Station and a 15 minute walk to the centre of Gent. We had a room at the back of the hotel and heard little noise from the station. Reception were very helpful with directions to our destinations. Breakfast was fine with a good selection of breads, cereals, salami, ham, cheese. Also, boiled eggs, juices, water, tea and coff.
all reviews » The Adoma was the best hotel that was available that night in Gent. It was not convenient for the centre but was clean and mostly friendly. The food, clean, friendly, adequate.Very close to the railway station and to the conference centre (5 minutes walk) but about 20 minutes on foot to the city centre. Good tram connections to the centre. Friendly atmosphere as it is a small (family) hotel. location very good,just a short distance from station.clean, good room, near center. For me the location in relation to the station was the main reason for picking it, the staff seemed to be a family and it had a nice "guest house" feel to it...I would say ideal for a quick night to lay your head. on the whole a nice stay.friendly staff, location close to university campus, cheap and nonetheless good breakfast. The person that I was travelling with could smell cigarette smoke in the bed, but we did not smell it in the room or the hotel in general. The original booking was confused because I did not receive prompt confirmation from Booking.com I contacted the hotel - and they said it was full (they did not have a record of the booking. A little later the Manager phoned me and confirmed the booking.The Parking. Limited spaces and hard to get in and out of the spaces. It was an OK' breakfast but youghurt (natural) and dark bread were missing. If you get the room with the window to the railway, you will need to keep your windows closed the whole time. I was on the "better" side but anyway the train traffic was to hear even when windows closed. However, for me it was not much disturbing. no croissants available. small no extra facilitiets. Would be worried about staying longer than a night or so as the facillities not up to scratch for an extended stay....I was a little concerned about the welfare of the two large lizards in the small tank!!. having been given a smoking room, quite old furniture, narrow stairs, rambling building. Didn't mind the constant trains passing but some people would. Some lizards in a cage did not seem to have enough room.The extrafee for the breakfast, smoke of cigarettes in the corridors. Internet should be free of charge.The breakfast was a little poor. the staff of the hotel aren't so nice and polite that they should be. The breakfast, which cost extra, was the equivalent of the meal included by other hotels with the price of the room. No kettle in the room, no facities. too close to railway line, hotel needs some things like coffee for non breakfast hours etc, no shop around. no facilites in hotel whohc does not constitute a 3*. Walls thin and nois form next door was loud. I would never recommend this hotel.
