The hotel was very nice and accommodating. Nice strong shower, heated floors etc. The meal at the hotel restaurant was very nice and the waiters pleasant. I had emailed before hand about a airport shuttle and also reminded them of the 5:00 am shuttle needed at the front desk when we arrived. In the morning, they had no account of the conversation. However, they rectified the situation quickly by ordering a taxi at their expense. This hotel is great if you need to be at the airport.
all reviews » Very close to the Business area with big companies nearby such as Nokia, Verizon, etc. The restaurant is excellent and really gourmet. Do not think that you can go out for dinner near by. There are no restaurants at all, except for the hotel restaurant. Internet was quite slow. It's free, but rate limited to less than 64k - the hotel sells this as a free internet, but they actually want to sell a high speed daily plan.Staff was just okay, they were quite professional, but you don't feel the same warm welcome from other hotels. Soaps and shampoos were very cheap quality and towels very uncomfortable in a way that can even hurt your skin. All that adds a lot for the hotel cost which is quite high. -Double bed is not really a double bed but two beds put next to each other. -In the middle of nowhere, so you are stuck in the hotel. -Exuberant prices for food and drinks. Nothing. Nothing in particular. The Breakfast was a bit expensive at 16 euros and the selection was basic. Shuttle was not available Sunday evening. Carpets in rooms showed some stains. It's conveniently located in a business park. labyrinth to find the room. No working phone in the room , airport shuttle limited to one shuttle every half hour. -Expensive breakfast -Expensive parking -DJ music at 9am on a Sunday -Slow checkout process -Expired coffee pods. Not right downtown, but thats ok too. corridor was worn out in places, missing toilet brush. Nothing Restaurant expensive but quite good. In the restaurant times to be served were too long Check-in time consuming (many people, few receptionists). The AC was noisy. Breakfast room not very cozy with big tables to share. The location isn't great as there is nothing close by. Not even a convenience store to purchase items such as shampoo, conditioner etc. shuttle bus was not driving without the notice for customers. The location is on an industrial estate & walking to the train station is through a very dark viaduct so probably not pleasant for solo travellers. The room was tired, in need of modernisation. Grubby in places, stains on carpets and also on chairs. Net curtains looked dirty. Bathroom was much better than sleeping area. Buffet food was slow in to be replenished. I would only stay here as a last option. bar was way too expensive..way way. There was a number of mistakes, including double booking (someone got my room in the middle of my stay) and I spent 40 minutes on check-out because the room rates guaranteed by letsbookhotel.com were not reflected in my invoice !. 1. Fitness studio is missing very popular flat bench (simple and cheap), I couldn't do my training because of this. 2. I was overcharged for taxi ordered by the hotel - 43 EUR trip from hotel to Expo Brussels -15 minute trip) - compared to 15 EUR Expo- central Brussels, and 25 EUR central Brussels - airport. Wrongly calculated room price. Constant mistakes in issuing the invoice and not authorized payments, which hotel took off my card after my visit, which was result of front-desk mistake who didn't calculate the room rate correctly. Poor contents of mini-bar, no food in bar after 23:00, no movie channel & free movie. Dirty wet towels not changed for the second night's stay. Beer served in a glass that was swilled in washing-up water and not dried. Sealed windows and no fresh ventilation. Shower head was loose Television: very poor quality Airconditioning making noise. Checking-in took forever as the staff or systems were slow and easily distracted [staff]. Staff indifferent bordering on rude, especially in the restaurant. Minibar free [soft drinks] no bottle opener! Hotel a little shabby and could do with some maintenance. not enough staff,u can see that the manager it's not doing his"homework".
