This place is exactly what it said it would be a budget hotel near the airport. The shuttle was marked, there was wifi in my room, (even though it did take a few tries to connect it) and it was enough bandwidth to stream shows. I just buffered them while I ate dinner at the restaurant. The room was small but sufficient and it was clean. - good and practical location - if you need to be close to Brussels airport - free shuttle to the airport on a regular timetable - twice every hour My objective in sleeping at this hotel was to be close to and have easy access to the airport - OBJECTIVE MET!.
all reviews » Location and price were perfectly suited for a pre-flight nightstop to avoid a really early start with our small children. The parking option at only 9 Euros a day with a free shuttle to the airport is another great plus!!. If you live in the USA, and know Motel 6, this is like a Motel 6 (slightly better). VERY clean rooms and location to the BRU Airport was excellent. Good and large elevators. I would stay there again if flying out of BRU. Clean, friendly and helpful staff. Very Spartan but totally functional for a night's stay on the road. Bus lines nearby to go into the city. On site parking, even with the charge, was nice to have available. The room was clean, comfortable and met my needs for an overnight stay. The shower was hot and powerful!! The free shuttle was great too (just ten or fifteen minutes directly to the airport). NO A/C and the window would not open all the way. Paying 9.00 Euro for Parking. Mostly the construction in the area. Really difficult to get to. Even the bus lines were blocked so we had to walk further. Not the hotel's fault at all but some warning and better markings along the road to get there would have been helpful after a long drive!. The construction from the freeway made access a bit of a problem, but this shouldn't last forever!. Getting from the major roadway to the hotel was difficult. Street signs were seldom found in the area. After being told the restaurant did not open for an hour, the short menu items desired were only available during periods when the restaurant was not open. wish breakfast had been a bit more selection (some real fruit) and real coffee cups would be nice instead of plastic cups. There was no free internet. Breakfast offered a very limited selection, terrible automat coffee, and was over-priced. Parking was secure but also over-priced for the remote location. Staff was not up-to-date or pro-active in providing info on public transport options into Brussels city-center so we figured it out for ourselves. The location is not suitable for city trips. I think hotel could offer parking for free. There was some road construction going on and it was difficult to locate hotel. I dont blame hotel for this, since after construction work is over, the problem will be solved. Public transport is not convenient. It was difficult to get to because of the road construction. Not having Bell Boys!. The breakfast was very bad. They just offer bread and cofee, and some juice but when I arrived there there wasn´t any juice left. I can´t drink milk, neather cofee, I saw some people with yogurth but maybe they just offer a few because there wasn´t any left.I couldn´t have breakfast that day. The shower situation is a bit cramped. to small desk(could not place 2 laptops) for that amount of money and without breakfast. Directions on how to find it, difficult with public transportation. I would have liked a small lounge area. In the rooms it would have been nice to have a kettle to make a cup of coffee. Staff would not give change for the snack machines, which was an inconvenience. parking was almost full upon our late arrival. the advertized free WiFi was with very close to zero download/upload, practically there wasn't internet!. All the roads were blocked and the GPS did not take us there. We just found a couple of signs and it was annoying. Make sure you get directions from the hotel!. Proximity to nonairport location of car rental agency - would be good if closer to hotel. sometimes noisy. Inadequate air-conditioning in the room. Free shuttle is misleading as they have it only for a few hours in the morning & in the evening. Taxi fare was over 20 Euros and I could have stayed at Sheraton right at the airport. The air conditioning was not quite up to the heat of this quite hot day. The shuttle bus does not run in the middle of the day. rooms were very warm - we knew there was no air conditioning however. For ppl who prefer smoking please keep a matchbox in the room. breakfast was poor, kind of "sold out "due to large group of guests. Much expensive, then Ibis Budget Hotel's in other city's. Shuttle Connection with Airport is not good. No kettle to boil water in room. The room also had a wet dog smell that was uncomfortable until we fell asleep. Breakfast: No clamps to take the cheese and ham, bread toaster not working, no dishes to put the food. Disappointing. 1st room we got offered, the heater the window was broken, the room was freezing cold. 2nd room when we used the shower the water drains was really slowly. room had a lot of noise from roads and airport.
