We stayed in the green room.
What can I say? The location was superb, the breakfast was extraordinary, the room was beautifully comfortable and quiet. BUT - what made this that extra bit special was the host - Veerle went beyond what we have experienced before. She had provided us a half bottle of wine on arrival; asked us what we were interested in seeing/doing and provided us with her recommendations for those things; she gave us the use of 2 guide books about Brugge, and a map of the inner c. all reviews »
Very well presented guest house and bedroom with a lovely shared living space above. Very comfortable bed and nice hot powerful shower. The host was lovely and gave us plenty of suggestions of places to visit while in Bruges. Location was a short walk from the main square. Breakfast seemed a little expensive but there was a lot of food laid out beautifully and the option to take away food for later in the day.
We received a warm welcome and the hospitality throughout our stay was great. The guesthouse is also in a great location just a few minutes walk from all the main attractions and is in a very quiet area. Decor was warm, homely and rooms were very comfortable. We chose not to have breakfast, but probably would if we visit again, as for a good breakfast it is well priced compared to surrounding taverns.
Me and my boyfriend stayed here for a romantic weekend and it was
absolutely amazing - I very highly recommend staying here. Willem the
owner couldn't do enough to help and was very welcoming and
friendly. Giving us maps and tourist information book on Bruges. The
rooms were immaculate and such a nice warm homely feel. I wish I could
go back and live there. Couldn't find one fault.
The hosts are very gracious and welcoming as always. This is my second time at Guesthouse Abiente. The location is perfect, breakfast is great and we are always encouraged to pack a lunch. I was grateful for new recommendations of things to do and we once had to contact the host for something late in the day and our need was met very quickly.
Veerie is a fantastic host. The accomodation is wonderful, very comfortable, classy and lots of style. The location is great, a stones throw from old Brugge and all the attractions. Breakfast is very good with a varied selection of things. There is also a good local restaurant 3 doors down at No 24, all in all this place is faultless.

The house is absolutely cute and lovely. My husband and I liked everything about it. The owner spent her time to talk to us and gave some tips and advice, we are really grateful to her. I'd like to advise this place to everyone who wants to have quality and calm rest!

What did we like? EVERYTHING! So helpful, So thoughtful and then then room? Quiet, quaint, romantic and an awesomely perfect location. Since we traveled from 4,000 miles away, THANK YOU for being so honest and true. We loved your offering for us. We had a great time.
The owners were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. The Guest house was spacious, clean and comfortable and the location was superb. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance with a fantastic Restaurant next door. Only wish we had been able to stay longer.
It was a fab experience to stay with Veerle, a great hostess, full of very usual information and the ability to borrow guide books on Bruges enhanced our stay even further. Comfortable beds, stylish surroundings and an excellent breakfast and packed lunch.

Beautiful romantic atmosphere. At the disposal of guests provided a cozy loft with a small kitchen. Delicious hearty breakfast. A really friendly hostess. No sense of the hotel, you feel like home. Thank Veerle and Willem!))).
