I had one of the renovated rooms and was very impressed with how light and bright it was, despite having only a very small window so high up that I could only just reach the curtains. It was nice that the bar in the Billiard Hall is now open to residents (if it was before, I was never told). Good place near central station, low price, pleasant staff. It is just right at the Railway Station. Very nice staff, very helpful. Friendly staff. This Hotel is literally 200 meters from Antwerp Central. Great location, clean rooms.Convenient, central location close to the railway station. However the cleaning staff took care of the food and other leftovers from the previous client later on this afternoon.I found the breakfast selection limited. I would like to have the choice of fruit and yoghurt also. I didn't like was pretty much everyone was smoking there. Not really smoking-free hotel.The fact anyone can walk up and ask for your key to a room, as you haveto leave the key with the hotel, and they just leave it on the side ofthere reception. Really thin walls - you could hear a lot in the other rooms and it was really loud every time someone opened or closed their room doors. I wanna have at least a toilet in the room :-). no tualets, shouer in room. The room's temperature was very low.You can tell it is cheap, very basic and very noisy. The hotel personnel was far from being polite, sometimes they were even rude. I would not treat enemies the way they did treat me. I did make reservation in April. Despite of this fact they did not know about it the night before my arrival when I was calling them. They told me that I had to change rooms the third day. By that time I found out that my best solution was to leave the place. So I did.the staff - impolite. air conditioning system is optional thing, which means there was no air conditioner in my room, neither minibar nor refregerator. i booked a ensuite but i got a room without bathroom. awful.Dirty carpet in the room, and the blanket smelling og cigarettes, don't know if they allow smoking in rooms, I booked non smoking. Noise from the heating system all night, this place is not for resting unless you are fully stoned. I'm demanding you to credit to my account of this charge. 1. The reservation never show up in the hotel receptions 2. They charge to my account 48 Euros instead of 44 Euros like I did in the reservation. 3. The hotel room is so small That I could not open my suitcase without lay it on the bed. 4. The T.V and Phone in the room never worked, when I call to fix it no one came. 5. The shower drai. Not clean at all.
