We stayed at the Coco-Mat residence on our last night of our European Album Release Tour. We are a band of 6 members from New York City. We are Meta & The Cornerstones. The welcome at the Coco-Mat residence was warm and surprising, we got to choose our own pillow and we had to leave our shoe size for our amazing home slippers we got as a present! Te apartments feel immediately like home, so does the owner, Willem make you feel. Right at home. And that is what we needed after a very tiresome.
all reviews » The residence is absolutely amazing. When you arrive, you're given a pair of slippers for free and you're asked to choose your pillow from a selection of four ones. The room is the biggest I've ever been to: the living room is extraordinary and the kitchen is very well equipped. The bedrooms are fantastic and the bathroom is as big as a room in a standard hotel. The residence is very closed to the city centre and is located in a good position (two minutes on feet from the beautiful railway sta. The penthouse we stayed is bright, spacious and modern, just as it is shown in the pictures! It is only a 5-min walk from Antwerp Central Station and very close to the city center and the old town. There is even a shopping center with a supermarket right next to the apartment. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted in a very unconventional way as the apartment crew is young, energetic and fun. I personally enjoyed my 2-night stay in Coco-Mat tremendously. It made me feel like being . Magnificent! Comfortable! Ideal! Location is perfect: 2 minute walk from Train Station or shopping area, 5 minute walk from the Cathedral. Apartments are in modern building on the one of the main street. It wasn't noisy! The appartments square is almost 100 m2. There were two separated bedrooms. Extremely comfortable beds! The bathroom was huge. There were both: shower and tub. There were also washing and drying machines. Full equiped kitchen, nice utensils, good quality linen. Just I can say . Coco-mat is a letsbookhotel.com gem! 1. Location was great 2. Really close to the main railway station 3. Really close to the main market square 4. Good, reliable internet 5. Very tastefully furnished rooms 6. Spacious rooms 7. Guests get to select their complimentary pillows at the shop before heading up to the apartment/rooms. Guests are also handed custom coco-mat slippers 8. Considering all the above, the price is incredibly good. Definitely recommend!. We (4 adults) stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for 2 nights. The apartment has all you could ask for. Super comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, bathtub and seperate shower. It was too good to be true. This is a high end penthouse very suitable for families. The apartment is on walking distance from the shopping area and has a great view. You could live here, I can't praise the accomodation highly enough. Also... the supermarket is below the apartment. We stayed here for 2 nights and found this apartment outstanding, right in the middle of downtown Antwerp & best value as this apartment can sleep 4 people in deluxe bed. Parking and supermarket is few meters away. Aboveall personnel at the cocomat shop is super helpful & friendly. We were very impressed when entering the appartment the first time. It was really big and it has a very cosy interior. Also the beds are fantastic! But we especially love the view on the city and the fact that it was really close to the Meir and the city centre. We really loved it!. Huge room (we stay at penthouse on the upper floor) with very pleasant wooden floor, separate cozy bedroom, patio or balcony the length of the whole apartment and an excellent view over the whole city! Choice of pllows is unusual and really a nice touch! I wish we could stay longer. The most comfortable beds we have ever slept in! Very trendy place with a pillow menu and lovely complimentary slippers. The apartments were stunning and a great location. 5 min walk from the station and 15 min walk through the equivalent of London's Oxford Street to Grote Markt. The perfect place to be! It feels like you stay at your own home.The rooms are huge with all equipments you need.fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with all the electrical appliances and of course the magic cocomat beds and sofas. We would have liked some coffeepads instead of tea. But that is only an extra plus for this great place to stay!. No airconditioning! May be hot in the summer - it is the top floor. Complicated entrance with codes in the elevator afterhours. Maybe not great for families in the Duplex as the stairs were quite steep. There was no iron and board in the room. You can only have one key which is a pain. The only thing that made me upset was the service with baby-bed. The baby bed (very good quality!) was presented as I ordered. BUT it was without lining. If the residence said that the lining wouldnt be presented it would be ok, we could take it with us. Unfortunately after my favour to present this lining (the receptionist said we would bring it to you) it wasnt in our apartment :(. Everything was perfect. Extra fee to check in after store hours. No coffee for morning, even for a fee. Needed to go buy it. The elevator was a little tricky at times. But overall everything was amazing. everything was perfect. Could have done a better job cleaning the lights. - the dishing machine wasn't emptied, but that's a minor gripe. Very minor items, mirror hinge is loose in bathroom and absence of a chopping block. Both items are probably already fixed by the time I write this. Smell in corridor was like it was a hospital. Nothing. There is no one at service downstairs post 6 pm. But that wasn't an issue for us. Only issue wifi didn't work. nothing really although check in before 1800 bit difficult. traffic noise even on third floor. Traffic noise. N/a. No wi-fi password. nothing a tall. Nothing. nothing. Nothing. No air conditioning or fans. Noise from street below. Insects in apartment, we were all badly bitten in our last night.
