It's not chic and i'm not sure about 4 stars, but it's really very nice, clean and cosy hotel. Would recommend it with no doubts!. My room was impressive: it was huge, pleasantly furnished with lovely rugs ands paintings) and the bed was extremely comfortable. It was also very quiet despite the central location of the hotel. And the staff at reception were very welcoming and efficient.The location was great, and the room, though very small, was adequate. Good breakfast. Excellent proximity to city centre. And it's true that you have to walk through a long turning corridor to reach your room, but we found it no problem.It was quite a long walk along a stuffy dark corridor to get to the room - this could do with better lighting and ventilation. Also breakfast could be better for a hotel of this quality, with a more attractive selection of breads and better coffee. Lack of British TV news channel (CNN Europe US in orientation). hotel staff at reception desk were impolitely. They job is to be politely, to help you and to provide you information at any time. These people are not smiling and always keep you waiting for keys Other hotel staff is perfect!. About a 10 minute walk to the nearest Underground station. that one could not look out of the windows. Reception staff smoking behind the front desk.When asked about getting to the airport, only a taxi was suggested, no mention of the City Airport Train.
