The communication with Corvinus Hotel was outstanding from the very start. They were responsive and very helpful. They arranged transport from the airport to the hotel and at the end of our stay, from the hotel to the train station. The room we had was amazing. LARGE, very recently renovated (but in a way that reflected the charm of the hotel), quiet and very nicely furnished. The location on Maria Hilferstrasse is excellent. We were able to easily walk to the center of town in about 10 minutes.

The hotel itself is very clean and peaceful and the room was quite comfortable. Great, spacious bed, bath with a bathtub. Stuff - nice, polite and helpful. This is as close as you'll want to get to Vienna centre, not geographically, but activity wise. If you want to get anywhere further, U3 subway station is 50 meters down the str. Look, this little hotel has a great location - at the middle of the main shopping Vienna street MariaHilferstrasse, near the underground station, and at the short walking distance from Innere Stadte!! The personnel are very good and friendly. Perfect air conditioning of the rooms at a very hot summer. Perfect free WI-FI connection at your apartments! Clean. Cheap at least! Highly highly recommended!. I'm happy I found this place. Only 8-10 rooms. Great location, 3 stops from Alexandreplatz. Who needs swimming pools, gyms when you are on a city break? Lots of cafes, bars within a few meters of the hotel. The staff were friendly. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well decorated. All we needed was provided. The hotel can validate parking and will do so for 18 euros (Without that it's 30 euros for overnight). Problem was that we had to leave early and they had lost our parking ticket. They did walk over and use their card to get us out of the garage but it delayed our leaving by at least 30 minutes. Accessing the hotel via the lift and its only on one floor. Only limited choice of breakfast items but the healthier options which is ok. More like a bed and breakfast not a hotel. Shared premises with other 'hotels'. Small room, but comfortable. Continental monotonous breakfast. do not have microwave, refrigerator. Double beds come with two separate mattresses, which can be quite uncomfortable (especially for a couple :)). But my understanding is that it is an Austrian tradition, so this is not much related to the hotel itself. Minor issue: Wifi reception wasn't too great. Noisey street but not too much. Same as many hotels they turn off the radiator in winter. The room size was a little small. no electric power outlet in the bath. In the brochure it says that breakfast is included in the price and at the end we were unpleasantly surprised. The breakfast is extra 9€ per person, per day. Beware. Noise on the street at night but can't be helped. Nothing, everything was verygood!. breakfast selection a little limited. only one English channel on TV (CNN). entrance is a bit cumersome.... small hotel with only few guests - breakfast offering was mostly cold /canned/bottled food. Could use some warm food for breakfast. Service. -Though it's 4 stars, it's not up to the standard. -No coffee making facility. -No supermarket nearby. -The staff that was in the reception on 12th Oct morning was not helpful by providing tourist information for us. 1 of the rooms was very very small. Breakfast was basic and staff were not very attentive.
