Although the units we joined there was a sense of privacy.
Parking was close to the room.
The children had plenty of space. The unit was easy to 'live in'. The gym and pool were an added bonus. The ability to order food in was fantastic. Would definitely recommend it to others as would the kids I am sure.
The apartment we had was large and comfortable with an outdoor area, laundry, and comfortable beds and lounges. Having undercover parking was good. The area is quiet and conveniently close to motorway, shopping centre, university and hospital.all reviews »
The apartment was very spacious and well appointed. We all had a really great sleep as the beds were so comfortable and there was absolutely no noise at night; the bushy surroundings make it a very peaceful place to stay.
There is a big shopping mall about 5 minutes drive from Medina. Very convenient. Quiet and peaceful at night. As we stayed for 10 days, the washing machine was a plus point.
The rooms had plenty of spaces and, for the area, the price was good for the 2 bedroom apartments. There was plenty of parking. Staff were friendly.
The two bedroom apartment gave us flexibility. On the second night we only needed a one-bedroom apartment and so the second room was closed off.

Was told the total amount of $482 when we checked in and breakfast
was free. We then asked to stay an extra night as we were driving
all the way from Brisbane to Sydney and back. The extra night would
be an additional $100 in the price, so it would total $582 and
breakfast was free.
The apartment is with 2 separate rooms, space is quite good and sufficient for 3-4 people, great for family stay. It is next to a national park, so a bit quiet and dark during daytime. This place is close to a shopping center, only 2 min drive, which makes shopping quite easy.
The location of the hotel, size of the apartments/rooms, value for
money, free parking, friendliness of staff (although a bit more
information about where facilities were would've been great).

Apartment size, location, parking, bed was really comfy, relatively quiet.
The courtyard was overgrown and it would of been nice to be able to sit out there. Needed a few running repairs, screen door fell off but other than that it would of been exceptional.

The rooms are looking a little tired - especially the bathrooms which could do with a make-over. You need to drive to get to any restuarants or shops.
Had a little trouble finding the apartments as address is North Ryde on
internet but suburb is actually Marsfield. Took us longer to get from
apartment to Olympic Park by taxi than expected.
Not being advised in advance that the room key was required to exit the security parking before reception hours. We locked up and put the key inside the unit as advised. Tried to exit and could not. Fortunately found another customer who allowed us to borrow their key.
Cleaning staff not very good. Our apartments were not serviced one day and the garbage was not removed and beds made by pulling up the doona on another day. Carpet was not vacumed at all and no vacum to do it yourself. Would have also liked a colanda and electric frypan in the units, but apart from that equiped well.
Little things - dishes in the cupboard were dirty when we went to use them
- tiles around the pool falling off in places and could do with a bit of maintenance.
- reception should be open earlier for those who need to check out.
A few things in the apartment need attention i.e the ensuite shower screen is cracked & mouldy. In the main bathroom there was a scum ring around the bathtub. The tiled floors need a good scrub. The range hood light needs replacing. I think there needs to be a plastic microwave jug & maybe a serving platter in the kitchen cupboard. The scatter cushions on the lounge suite were a bit grotty. The apartment seems a bit tired, not crisp & new.
Outdoor patios are not well kept.

The fridge in our unit 44 leaked but I forgot to write that on the
repair slip.
Bathrooms in #27 are both in desperate need of work..the main shower couldn't be turned off and the ensuite had virtually no water pressure and the pipes hammered.
Bit of a walk from the apartment to the car parking. Ok for us with teenager but would be difficult for older people or those with young children to get bags to rooms.
Some aircraft noise in the mornings.
Car parking was some distance from the accomodation and we had to carry heavy bags downstairs.

Inconsiderate people in the unit next door to us left their airconditioner on all night and it was very noisy. Kept us awake most of the night!!.
it was very noisy in the morning from about 6 am. We had a bus beeping the horn yelling for people to hurry up thought it was quite rude as we didn't have to leave to 10am.
Dryer was broken

That the cleaners walked into the room without knocking before check
out time and asked us when we were checking out. The reception were
supposed to talk to cleaners and get back to me and it hasn't
happened yet. Unacceptable violation of privacy and they didn't
seem to notify cleaners when occupants left and couldn't understand
why that was an issue.

Poor house keeping. Over the 3 days we were there house keeping made one room and left the other room as is (childrens room). Towels were not chnaged even when they were left on the floor. Front desk when informed said they will advise house keeping.

needs a little TLC. A few i=tems need repair.
We got to our room and the stair had no gates on it for our young
children and not enough beds and we had to go and buy an air mattress
and blankets and sheets, We went to check out and found our total bill
was $900. And the receptionist told us that the breakfast was not free
and was $52 per day and the $500 holding fee will be put in my bank
account the next day, but she needed $900 that day. I was not happy, as
we went down to Sydney on a budget, to visit family.
All facilities are provided where necessary, but relatively old, although well maintained. The staff at reception was helpful, but not very nice.
Our plumbing wasn't the greatest. The ensuite smelled disgusting due
to the drain, the toilet didn't flush in the main bathroom & the
kitchen tap was leaking. Also on a side note the gym didn't have a
treadmill!? I've never been anywhere that doesn't have one so
was a little disappointed. Other than that everything else was good.

The apartment was not near any shopping or facilities. I did not have a car and it was too far to walk to shopping or restaurants. I had to order in a meal from a restaurant that delivered and this was very expensive.The apartment offered food, but it was very limited and also quite expensive.
Shower head in ensuite was broken, apartment kitchen wasn't well stocked with utensils (wasn't an issue for our short stay but may be if staying for longer).

Medina Executive North Ryde is approximately 20 minutes' drive from the city (14km) or 30 minutes (30km) from the airport (not during peak hour traffic).
From the airport, travel down Southern Cross Drive, which will connect to the Eastern Distributor and continue through the tolls. This road will continue through the Sydney Harbor Tunnel and out onto the Gore Hill Freeway. Follow all signs to Epping for about 10km. Continue along the Gore Hill Freeway, which will turn into Epping Road. Continue on this road till you see signs on your left to Lane Cove Road. Keep in the left lane, and you will come to Lane Cove Road. Turn right on Lane Cove Road and under the Epping Road Bridge. Turn left into Talavera Road at the second set of lights. Follow Talavera Road till you go through two roundabouts, pass by the Travelodge Macquarie North Ryde and the road changes to Busaco Road, then through a tunnel. Medina is the first buildings on the left.
