The room was brilliant with fantastic views. The unit was fully renovated with all brand new furnishings. The staff couldn't do enough to help. The pool was great especially cause it's heated so it's always nice to swim in. Beach access gate means the beach is at your fingertips. After staying at a lot of self contained apartments I the Goldcoast, president is my pick of the bunch, great value for money.
all reviews » Very impressed. The guy at e reception greeted us with warm smile, very helpful with directions n informations. Upon arriving, he issued us our room key although we were earlier than checkin time. Great place, sleeping with e sound of waves. Full amenities, very convenient for a my family with an infant thats not well.I would highly recommend this. The closeness to the beach and such easy access. The safety a spect of the complex and the secure parking in the basement The beautiful views from our apartment. Fantastic location, great pool, some minor problems with the apartment, sticking doors, we got an immediate response from the staff who fixed it immediately. The helpful and friendly staff, how clean and spacious the rooms were, how comfortable the stay was, and how close the appartment was to local attractions. Mostly the price so cheap for a great apartment with views of beach and a short walk to surfers paradise shopping centre and the big cable tv. value for money 100%! 10th floor, budget apartment, really clean, older furniture, but amazing view. would recommend. Fantastic views, walking distance to Cavill Ave, great value for money. it was close to everything we needed ,walking to the Q1 were my daughters stayed & my sister. Staff very helpful and friendly nothing was to much trouble would go back and stay there again. We liked that David the Manager listened to us and our concerns that the one bedroom unit was grotty and had lots of faults.He moved us to a different unit. Convenience to the Surfers Paradise area. The difficultly of opening sliding doors Lack of air con.not a issue at this time of the year but maybe next time we visit! The size of the double bed for two mature size adults. I love cooking could not find a greater and can opener was not good and no large knife for chopping. But no worries I can take with me next trip. Units were older style and some doors and windows were very hard to open and close. No spa. The mattress in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable but other than that the unit was fantastic and we would definitely stay there again - the position and views were breathtaking. Some broken furniture on arrival,missing glasses which was not replaced by the time we left. the largest stove element was broken and did not get fixed after being reported. No air con.. Wasn't a problem as the weather wasn't to hot. Tv was impossible to work. Turned it on to a music video then tried changing channel nd couldnt find a thing. old!. The apartment needs a really good clean and renovating. Everything either didn't work or didn't work well. The fridge and freezer had massive blocks of ice in them, dried cereal found in 2 of the bowls, carpet very dirty - we all had black feet from walking on it. There are ledges walking into the laundry and out to the balcony which are poorly visible and I think we all kicked our toes at least once. Location was great , apartment did not supply handtowels in bath room , tea towel to dry dishes , and wheni pulled the extra pillow from the cuboard there was a pair of mens dirty undies under it . The couple next door were heavy smokers so we had to keep our balcony door closed. we could not get any chanels on our tv . bed broke in middle of night - fixed next day shower head broken - not fixed when reported only coffee when it said coffee tea and suger - reported it but it was not fixed up. Not enough blankets , fry pan was dirty and the large pot was rusty. The windows shook whilst it was windy. Dated apartment with torn curtains. Place was shabby and housekeeping really needs to be improved. Place felt grubby and uncared for. ants in WC; idiot who made renovation above us; dull knives; bad sound insulation (you'll be listen everything what happens nearby room). reception desk is only open 9-5pm and half day during weekend. Not all the kitchenware was clean..the toilet wouldnt stop flushing and.the lightbulb was blowen in the toilet. The washing machine didnt spin cycle properly. That the units are not up to standard and need work. we came home a day early,will not go back to these units. Internal fitout of the unit very dated. Aged bedding, broken coffee table, broken toilet door lock, dripping taps, broken vertical blinds and chipped/dirty kitchen crockery. Overall quite poor. House keeping poor. Rooms and common areas dirty and poorly maintained. Obviously no one managed cleaning staff or kept abreast of maintenance requirements. Traffic noise was an issue. Very smelly. Smelt of mould and place has not been maintained. Lights not working, missing shower door, kitchen disgusting, cockroaches in wardrobes. Not a good place to stay. Dirty. very old room. stains on walls and mildew on curtains. Windows rattled in the wind. kitchen very old pine board with chunks out of shelves and holes.
