Our hotel room on the third floor was clean and well designed, it felt like a bed sitter with the king size bed facing the window, separated from the rest of the room by long table. The room had more space this way. It was nice to wake up looking out at the trees in the morning, the bed was comfortable, we slept very well. Loved the location in the centre of the City. Bit of a misunderstanding with our room booking at check-in, however once it was sorted by the wonderful staff we were upgraded to the room we wanted with a beautiful surprise of wine and chocolates delivered! The room was spacious and so clean & comfortable, it was everything we wanted. The Restaurant was also delicious! We will be back for sure.

Most of all I really love the block out blinds, I wish every motel/hotel had these.❤ I'll be back, that was my third time, I love it. The location was central to Civic shops & was an easy 5 minute stroll. The bed was extremely comfortable & the colour scheme calming. The room we stayed in was extremely quiet with no outside noise audible. there was nothing we didn't like. the service and staff were impeccable. it was the best hotel we have stayed in years. very impressed. the beds were very comfortable as well. thank you so much crowne plaza xxxx. Nice room layout, quality furnishings and fittings, cosy feel, very comfortable bed. Special feel. Attentive staff, especially at breakfast buffet. The breakfast was of the highest quality. Loved that it was in the city and close to amenities. Staff were really friendly and pleasant. The dinner buffet could have had a bit more variety, however all in all really great stay. I liked the staff in particular a man who helped my luggage to my car his name was Kim. All other staff and check in staff were very good and only too happy to assist with anything. The hotel was great close to everything. Went to Turner exhibition, war memorial, national museum and old parliament house which were all easy to get to from the hotel. Great location and the bar was good to come back to for drinks before the wedding reception. room was very practical, well decorated w space + good shower. It was clear that while the rooms were clean and comfortable they are probably coming up to their use by date. If the Hotel wants to market themselves as a luxury hotel money will need to be spent updating fixtures. If not you will find client expectations as a luxury hotel will be disappointed and hotel will be known as a dated hotel, clean, friendly, good location but lacking that certain something that one expects from a luxury hotel. Bathrooms were ordinary, though functional, no wow factor there. The brown decor. evening meals were rushed could not have table we liked. There was nothing that I disliked. I would like to know why you charged me an extra $27 for the third night of my stay?. SPA was not available,Dissappointed with parking space with the parking fee paid. The access keys for the lifts & Rooms were tempremental. My collegues main course at dinner was not cooked properly & took quite a while to be redone. charges for internet inroom were excessive. Free wifi available in lobby but a hotel of this stature should have free wifi throughout. the bathroom was outdated and the bath very small would have been better with a bigger shower and no bath ,. The queues at breakfast both mornings!! Not good. This also meant the food at breakfast was not quickly replenished. Choices were not as varied as we would have liked. I was disappointed with the Chef telling me that my Burnt Grilled Salmon was how it comes when cooked this way. Not much, if anything!. Weekend Parking is expensive at $18 per day. Overall value for money is poor. It was a little noisy in the morning. I was woken at about 5.30am but work outside. Prices in the bar. Wasn't very impressed by the bathroom. I didnt like having to step in the bath to shower as I have back problems. As a patron of the hotel I still need to pay for my parking. Car park fee. The bathroom design was very basic. Plain cheap tiling & fittings. I think I expected a bit more luxury. The carpet was stained in places & on the ottoman/foot stool. The bed was not good at all .i had the worse sleep ever .but the up side off it was the stuff were very sorry and polite about the bed situation . Waiting in the breakfast line for 40mins to be seated at a non wiped table and then not a clean plate or bowl in the place or a glass to have a juice then when plates where ready the hot food was cold. there wasn't anything that i did't like it was all good. The view from my room wasn't the best but you take to good with the bad. I felt the continental breakfast was a little expensive given i only wanted cereal. The bathrooms do not at all fit the rest of the hotel. E.g. the toilet is the same that was fitted during my house renovation in 1986!! During some of my stays the water piping of neighbouring guests are extremely noisy. Luck of the draw. Was all good -- would have liked some plates etc in the room for own food items -- but room service provided. Nothing. The pool was closed and no sign or indication prior to booking or going down to the pool that it was not available. We really wanted a sauna and swim and there was no shower or cold spa to cool of after the sauna. We got dressed and organised to go down there with the bride and groom only to find out it was closed when we finally found it!. Value for money of meals in Crowne plaza restaurant. Extra for Parking.
