Excellently located sparkling clean city hotel with great rooftop views - very near to the station for those arriving by rail with heavy luggage. 24 hour desk and free tea at the front counter which given the expense of Zurich is a boon on arrival! Luggage room to leave things on final day and potter around. Really helpful multi-lingual staff who took trouble to assist. Free internet wireless in whole building and use of desktop in lobby area. Really nice large breakfast - serve yourself and af.
所有评语 » The hotel is a short walk from the station, the staff are very kind and friendly and there is a nice atmosphere. Although Hotel Marta is functional, plain and simple, everything is of high quality (beds, pristine bathrooms etc.). In the lobby there is a hotel computer and free tea available around the clock. The breakfast buffet does not have a wide choice but again the food is of high quality, plentiful and perfectly substantial and everything spotlessly clean. Highly recommended. Hotel Marta value for money for expensive cities. Great location, 5 mins walk from main station & old town. Room simple & clean. I booked economy room for 2 adults & 1 3 yrs old kid. When we reaching the staff saw the room i booked is too small for us, she upgrade us to standard room plus with the same price. So touched~ Thanks. high recommendation. The staff at Hotel Marta were very helpful. We exchanged a few emails even before we arrived and they answered all our queries quickly and efficiently. During our stay they helped us with directions and information about local sightseeing and transportation. The location is great; very close to the Tram station and Train station. The hotel was immaculately presented with very comfortable, spacious rooms. The free tea in the lobby was nice, as was the seating area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good, as was the hotel's location - just across the river from the main train station and shopping district. Really close to the main train station. Cozy. Our one of the smallest room had sufficient space for two persons. Substantial breakfast: fresh bread, just boiled eggs, no problems with milk or butter, oranges, apples. And yeas, tee at the reception - coolest invention I met. Absolutely liked our stay. Hotel Marta is good value for Zurich which is an extremely expensive location. The hotel is perfectly located for the station and city centre. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel has a plain functional minimalist style - extremely clean and well looked after. In the heart of the city yet 5-8 min walk from train station. Its a 2-star hotel so I did not expect much, but the big window in the room indeed is a big plus. Lobby is cozy where hot tea is also provided for free(self-service). Simple furniture but very clean, bathroom is okay. From walking through the door I was impresse with the atmosphere, decor and the staff . They are so helpful ,and friendly too.The location is superb too.My room was exactly as I like a room . Clean lines and excellent bathrooms .The windows look over the city. The position of the hotel was perfect. 5 minutes walk from the main train station. In the old city of the town were all the restaurants and bar are. I was there for a business trip. Because it was the weekend there was some street noise from a bar opposite, but the double glazing was very effective and the hotel even provided ear plugs!. No air-conditioning. The breakfast could have been more exhaustive. Yes, there is a club on the opposite side, my husband told that he was disturbed my noise. But I was pretty tired after long walks, I had a good sleep, there was no disturbance for me. A bit of traffic noise but not too bad. Rooms at the back overlooked by general public from a high level pavement. Only one thing -I wasn't staying longer , but this is a hotel I will return too for sure . It was hot that days, so having a condition would be good thing. But they are providing fan. Noise from the street (tramway and cars) Little room. There is no wardrobe closet in the rooms. Only some hungers. Because it is right in town, you need to expect some traffic noise. Hotel supplies and services was minimal but ok for the short stay we had. Price seemed high but probably ok in comparison to others in Zurich. In front of the noisiest pub in the Zurich. With closed window it is OK, but in hot weather it is not very comfortable - no air condition, only fun in the room. Its perfect for me. Nothing. Rooms were very tiny, we knew that before we arrived, but need to be aware of that fact, great if you are not staying in your room for long like us, out sightseeing. The sun had been full onto the window all afternoon so the room was very warm and there was no air-conditioning - only a fan. We could not open the window when we went to bed because there was quite a lot of noise outside. I would request a cooler room if I visited again on a sunny day. Certain rooms facing the main road can be noisy during the day, especially during the warmer seasons when the windows have to be kept open. Not having carpet on the floor in our room made it a bit echoey & cold. Had to ask at front desk for additional quilt cover for the bed as it was too small to cover both of us! But staff were extremely obliging & quick to remedy this. Nothing to fault. none. It was mostly everything we expected. There can be a bit of street noise especially on Fridays and Saturday nights. Be sure to close your windows to reduce the noise. There is a bar across the street and it can be noisy if the room faces this street (west, toward the train station) and you prefer to sleep with the window open. Small room ( booked an economic).In matter of privacy,window needs another sheer curtain.Breakfast was rather poor in selection but tasty. One of the sides of the hotels overlooks a busy road, and the rooms there are extremely noisy. If you close the windows, though, it doesn't disturb too much. The breakfast was rather skimpy, but (like they mention themselves) breakfast in such an economy hotel is already an achievement... Expensive- but that is more due to the city/ area rather than this hotel. It is still just a little bit too expensive. The hotel is in a small lane behind the main street. Difficult to find, make sure you look up Google map first. There is only a lounge chair provided in the room, not the best option if you need to work on your laptop. absence of a fridge absence of wine bottle opener. Poor breakfast, very late check in time at 3 pm, too noisy on the street, very hot inside the room during summer. breakfast can include more variety,it is a little weak. Street noise from cafes could be a problem, so request a room to the rear if you want a quieter stay. Very basic breakfast with no staff in attendance. Not much to report as it would be pias. Nothing.
