Perfect for passing through Trondheim on the train as the hotel was almost next door to the train station. Even being that close to the train station, it was still quite and quite comfortable, but spartan in room furnishings. The beds were comfortable and the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The Trondheim City Center was only 500-600 meters walk. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
所有评语 » Rooms were clean and relatively spacious, and we got breakfast in a box sent to our room. Perfect for late sleepers who never make it in time for 10 o´clock ;) We reserved a room with a n extra bed, but something had gone wrong so they couldnt find the extra bed. We got an extra room for free in stead, which was great:). Staff very helpful and obliging A bright and interesting hotel The morning breakfast in a bag outside the door worked well for us (fruit,juice and a very fresh sandwich) We always appreciate tea /coffee making facilities in the room and this was the case at PHotes. Arrived late, left early, so just some short remarks: - relatively new, building opposite railtracks and harbour. Walking distance to train station, city centre and coastal ferries - rooms are big enough with adequate bathroom - clean. Very comfortable bed. Clean room. Internet is fast and unrestricted. HD TV with a good selection of channels. Just across the bridge from Trondheim city centre. Room is basic, but has everything you need. Excellent value for money! The hotel facilities were as good as we had in much more expensive hotels. Tea and coffee on tap was great. The breakfast bag was a great packed lunch!. Right beside train station and coach station Everything was so good!! Breakfast was really basic but better to have that included in such an expensive city!. 24 hr free coffee/tea macine. Large room. It'very close to the station in Trondheim and for this reason very confortable for who is planning to travel trhough Norway by train!!. It would have been nice to have a small desk and chair in the room for computer usage. The breakfast was a bit weak with a sandwich of choice, bottle of juice, and a piece of fruit delivered to your room. We took this small packet of eats as a lunch rather than our breakfast. However, there is plenty of coffee in the eating area next to the lobby. The girl behind the counter was very helpful, but sha had an extremely unprofessional and way too informal way of speaking. I felt like I was dealing with a 15 year old. - at first reservation could not be found, took a few minutes - not clear about breakfast: in breakfast room or was it the bag with sandwich on the doorknob? No information upon checking in - rooms on railtrack side have a nice view, but can be noisy due to passing trains (they actually pass just outside your window in some cases). Right next to the cities main bus and train station with tracks running directly behind the hotel. The "breakfast" could use a little work. Sandwich, apple and awful "apple juice" in a bag outside your door could be much nicer. The strange statues (big red hand!) and other art. Breakfast bag was more useful as a packed lunch. No complaints. Lack of a bar and restaurant was disappointing, given the location. They have the room (where breakfast is served) and the kitchen, so why keep it closed in the evening? Parking limited. No hair dryer in the room. Breakfast was not good, sandwich not edible. One of the hotel staff provide wrong information that we cannot go to airport by train and by bus is the only way to the airport!. No parking nearby. not very sofisticated breakfast. Breakfast sandwiches!!. Location - the hotel is located at the railway station and you may hear trains going during the night if your window faces the railway. There is no phone to contact the room service. Take away breakfast. Nothing. Breakfast is very simple. Only 1 sandwich, 1 bottle of juice and an apple in a paper bag delivered to the door. Some rooms are facing the rails so it might have some noise if you leave the window open. People can see through the window if you are on the ground floor. I didn't like that there was no kettle. I didn't like there was no hair dryer. I didn't like that I payed for a double room but then only got one breakfast!. Breakfast was a real disappointment. The downstairs eating area is not used they just hang a food bag with a sandwich and an apple on your door. There are no facilities to make a hot drink. If you struggle downstairs you could pinch a mug and fill up with a coffee to take to your room. There were tea bags down there but no hot water. Breakfast was very austere. The staff don't seem to care about conveying a welcoming, customer-friendly environment. In a nutshell, they completely lack personality to the extent that it's unpleasant. Receiving a bag of sandwiches at your door for breakfast is not only odd ... it sucks. Breakfast, Very little presence of any staff Felt like no-one else in hotel No social area. We booked months in advance asking for a room on the opposite side to the train tracks, but none was available, so we had constant noise of trains. The "breakfast" delivered to the door was not as ordered, the sandwich was dry and tasteless, and would have been better omitted. Very noisy: a night club in the immediate surroundings obliged me to sleep with earplug. Air conditionng not working in the room, temperature was very high. Quite tough to sleep!.
