Staff at the Sofitel Casablanca were friendly and helpful- nothing too much trouble. Their English was good, a boon for non French speakers. Rooms were comfortable and nicely furnished, and the L'Occitane toiletries and exotic bathroom facilities added a touch of luxury. A 5star hotel in every respect. Staff are exceptional. One walked to the station to purchase my train tickets for me. Another wheeled my luggage to the nearby station - me following. And for room breakfast - 9 varieties of bread! Highly recommended.
所有评语 » The hotel is located very conviniently near the Hassan 2 mosque, the medina and Rick's cafe.Excellent staff and facilities. BReakfast spread is continental. After being in the country for 10 and eatling the local delicacies, it is a welcome change. I liked the team working there, very friendly, well informed, helpful and you will feel the Marcan hospitality. Rooms are nice, clean & comfortable. Service were great in general. I liked every thing about the hotel from the host at the door till the farewell , specially the spa it was excellent experience. We had been put in the wrong room and after talking to the staff they were happy to out us in the right room. Very Americanized clean luxury hotel. We had a great room with a nice view. All the comforts of home. i had booked an executive room with bath tub, surprise to be given a disabled room with no bathtub?. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Gorgeous view from our room. Smart modern hotel with all facilities you would expect. Appreciated the upgrade. Nice room. No real complaints. It was too hot for the duvet which was supplied, but this was happily replaced with a light blanket. Nothing that would prevent a return stay, but: Pillow cover on bed too soft No quiet bar or roof terrace yet Lounge band just not oyr style Confusing room lighting control. Our breakfast was delivered to our room 30 minutes late and they didn't have my requested food available but they were prompt in bringing up a replacement option. I didn't like the city. Break fast little and expinsive. The shower ; design rainfall but very little water. However according to the director this is known comment and all will be replaced. No night club. A little far from centre. Not enough electric sockets in the room. Breakfast was the only thing I felt was not of any value. nothing to mention. the cost. It usuall people in nice hotels think they are more special .snobbery was very evident in almost most of the customers. That was really unattractive . The facilities were beautiful at first glance but there were some repairs required that were not done. $20 for a contentantal breakfast and $32 for the buffet seemed a bit over the top for the value. what reason that i can not take any of my friends into my room. V expensive for Casablanca, really for the business traveller. There were no glasses for beer and soft drink in the minibar. The flies in the lobby and just in front of the reception desk are a real nuisance. Overpriced and pretentious. waited 1 hour to get our room after regular check-in time. The food was average at the hotels restaurant.
