We felt at home straight away thanks to the excellent friendly staff.Our room was extremely comfortable, furnished to a very high standard,had a beautiful king size bed and was exceptionally clean. Breakfast wasvery nice and tea, coffee, scones, cakes, fruit were available at alltimes to guests. We felt that the comfort of the guests was central tothe hotel. Everything was impeccable, the cleanliness of the room, the helpful staff (and owner), the delicious complimentary breakfast, the location!!! It was fabulous! They have done a magnificent job in restoring a beautiful building.
所有评语 » This is a newly renovated house close to Cork city-centre. The garden is still in process of consruction but if it comes up to the standards already achieved in the house, it will be excellent. Valerie was very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and clean with a lovely view. The room had large, comfortable beds without much outside noise. The breakfast was very good.The room was excellent - really comfortable, modern and clean. We had a lovely view from the windows. The whole place was really charming, and the staff were warm and friendly. Our fmaily has been travelling as a four months now and this was top of our list for BandB. Staff were sensational. Wished we could have stayed longer.It is called gabriel house but it was really better than some of the 2or 3 stars hotels that we have been before. Very nove rooms withexcellent staff. Breakfast was very good,room and bathroom were of a very high standard,staff were excellent.Near to train station.We loved the decor and the view from our room. Breakfast was great and the staff were very cheerful and helpful. the gabriel house woz great and so close to the city the staff were amazing and so friendly we miss u lol.....frendly staff grat room and good breakfast served the maraton runners very well could not have asked for more. hotel staff were helpful with directions to local ammenities and were able to point us in the right direction. Very friendly people, fresh tea and coffee the whole day, Parking, renewated rooms and a great bathroom. The receptionist was excellent with a wonderful friendly outllook and providing local knowledge.The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. free internet, good breakfast, lady working friday night to sunday was very nice and helpful. The hotel is very very nice.The rooms are comfortable.The staff is very kind and helpful. Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff, comfortable room, good selection of tea/coffee available 24/7, very good breakfast.We cannot fault the hotel for anything and found the previous badreviews to be untrue by our experience. Big thumbs up! :). Directions to the hotel were inadequate and our 2 cars both got lost. It would be helpful to indicate the one-way streets and provide clearer directions.The hotel was a little difficult to find and on a very steep hill... be careful when going on foot. No phone in room. nothing at all. No elevator. bright light shining into our room at night. Sound traveled quite clearly through the floor of the room above so we were woken when the room upstairs started moving around in the morning. we were travelling light but if we had taken a reasonable amount of luggage the absence of furniture in the room could have been problematic for a family of 4. ( 2 bedside tables and a hanging rail was all that was provided). was below dining room and could hear the chairs moving. Would prefer to have tea/coffee facilities in room. The location was a bit strange. The building next door had brokenwindows and partial occupancy... Gabriel House and other surroundingbusinesses looked like they were trying to turn the neighborhoodaround...not sure. A security guard is there through the night. No hair dryer or tissues in room. No tea and coffee making facilities in room. Would have liked tea/ coffee facilities in the room. No cable t.v.just basic channels. missed luxury of a phone?.
