  All of it was perfect; surroundings, buildings and appartment. So beautiful and interesteing with the castle and the restaurationwork of these ancient buildings. Now in beautiful shape. The hotel is 5 minutes from Areopolis by car where one can shop, eat, walk in the traditional village. The hotel has lovely verandas and one can sit outside, as well as effective airconditioning if it is too hot outside. We had an appartment with a vert well wquiped kitchen. The owner was very helpful with information about the area.

  To stay in a tower that is 200 years old and beautifully renovated it is a unique experience. The location is fantastic and the view from the top of the tower breathtaking. - The location was outstanding. Sunset over the sea from tower battlements, mountains in background.   It was an awesome experience - nice staff, good food and a very pleasant environment. The son of the owner stayed with us and told us a lot of stories from the Mani region. You can't visit Mani region without staing to a guesthouse were the spirit of the people who receive you in theire house is like you - At Vlyhada Guesthouse you will really feel at home. The place is run by a family and all of them are very gentle, helpful and friendly; they really know about good hospitality.Although in the village, rooms are very quiet.Room was cleaned and towels were replaced regularly.You can enjoy your meal under a huge tree.   I would return in a heartbeat! We liked it so much we changed a future night's reservation and extended our stay in this Fabulous Tiny Boutique Hotel! We booked early the same day we arrived and felt very lucky to have discovered Sventoura.   Small guesthouse in Kafiona which was just a small collection of houses on the main road. Very clean, comfortable and friendly. Only tavern was about 5 mins away by car but very good (TRIANDAFILIA). Really friendly people. The family also run the petrol station next door (Revoil) which was a handy landmark to find the guesthouse.
