We stayed in Rimida for 4 nights in september 2013 and really liked it. The view is AMAZING, the room has everything you need, including cooking appliances. Its a short walking distance from the center of Oia, and yet, it´s a very quiet and relaxing place.The room is like a cave, very nice. Everything was very clean and well mantained. They provided complimentary bottle of wine and water when we arrived. Lovely fresh breakfast served on demand in the table in front of the room, with an amazing .
所有评语 » We came to visit Santorini at its last days of tourist season (end of October) and decided to stay in Oia as it's considered the most beautiful town of Santorini, although it's a little further out compare with Fira. We were lucky to stay at Rimida Villas, it located outskirt of Oia, with a view of the whole town, we had seen a great sunset right outside our door one evening. The host is really friendly and helpful, our cave flat is great, clean and comfortable. This villas comes with a good si. So many brilliant things to say about this place! Breakfast on our own private bit of terrace was the absolute perfect way to start the day and each day finished with a great view of the sunset from the same spot, followed by a short walk into Oia for dinner and a drink. The cave rooms are compact and perfectly organised with even a small kitchen area so you can cook for yourself and eat on your terrace. The swimming pool and local shop is a short walk away too (couple of minutes). All this top. The hotel was one of the traditional cave dwellings and had incredible charm. It was very private and the views of the caldera were stunning. Loved the breakfast every morning on our own deck. Also it was fairly close to the shops and had a good market close by. We spent quite a bit of time just relaxing on the deck and admiring the stunning views. Also close to bus stop if you wanted to go to other towns, but we found Oia to be the perfect place, better than Fira. One of the best locations in Santorini for fantestic view of the caldera, sunset, the villages around. Walking 10 mins to get to Oia village where many restaurants, mini-markets, tour agents are available. Local public bus can take you to the main village Fira in about 20 mins, at €1.60. From Fira bus station there are different routes to other parts of Santorini, such as the port, the airport, etc. Everything. Dmitri and his staff were great! Our "cave house" was always clean and comfortable. Oia is heavenly! My husband and I enjoyed the serenity and calmness, being away from the noisy city life. Getting so close to the sea and the nature was something that was very soothing to the soul. Santorini is indeed a magical place. We hope to be back again one day. Good value, clean, friendly staff -amazing view of town and caldera -delicious breakfast delivered to you patio each morning -perfect location, easy 5min walk into the center of Oia, and bus stop 2 min away for trips to Fira -Manager set up car rental, easing the process substantially -welcome bottle of wine and coffee Definitely stay in Oia over Fira. The views from all of the Rimida Villas are incredible. Our villa-cave was very quaint with curved stone walls and ceiling with the bed, sofa and shower all carved into the cave walls. The location was excellent and the staff made us feel very welcome. The kitchen had plenty of utensils for cooking, the supplied breakfasts were very nice. First and foremost was the incredible view that we had from our balcony. Heavenly. Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was plenty roomy for a family of four. Hotel was a close walk to shopping area but sufficiently far enough to not hear the crowds. A perfect choice. Wish we had stayed more than 3 nights. The place itself is excellent!! The room , facility , location are all great. But the most impressive is the owner. I feel like visiting my cousin during the stay. He was so nice even brought me to see the city, gave me a lot of info and a lot more!! I definitely come back if I have a chance to return to OIA. The staff is really nice and helpful, he showed us around when we arrived. We were upgraded to a huge and nice room or I should call it a little apartment;-) thank you for everything, Oia is definitely a great place to just relax, especiallly if u also go in Winter time!!. we like rimida, because its service is the best, and Dimitris, a Greek man, also our steward, is very kindful. He made delicious breakfast for us, and took us to visit Oia village, and gave us a surprise before we left. we all miss him. Hope another meeting!. Traditional (cave) style accommodations which means darker rooms with no windows other than at the entryway. However, our unit (two bedrooms) had a separate rooftop deck with a fabulous view. The pool is nice but not on the property, just down the pathway. Dimitri takes great care of his guests and the apartments are very Greek feeling! We loved the view and location. Private but yet very close to Oia' s main town. Great restaurants nearby. Only wish we could have stay stayed longer! The kids loved the pool!. We stay at Villa Christina with a two spacieuse rooms and a big saloon, two terrasses. We bathroom is smalle but good, fast for hot water and good pressure of water. The staf is very frendly any question was no problème. The see view fantastique. What's not to like? Fantastic staff who let us into the room early so we could get some much needed sleep. Organised transfer from airport and helped to find a piece of luggage which was lost. Wonderful view of the sunsets. So sad to leave. The man at reception was nice enough to put us in a room after arriving quite early. INCREDIBLE views from the rooms. Great breakfast delivered to your room in the morning. Close to shops in Oia, which is a beautiful walk. The staff is nice... Good location , beautiful view and delicious breakfast... My friend and me will miss the life that we were in the Oia village. And we will miss the kind man.... Everything is wonderful... The view is unbeatable!! It was definitely an experience staying in a cave style room and I wouldnt trade that experience. Oia is the more romantic side and I would highly recommend this for a couple trip. Very warm welcome from dimitris and a bottle of wine. the location and view is Amazing. Our apartment was a generous sized traditional cave with a large private roof verandah. our kids loved the pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful : ) caldera view is amazing! Room is comfortable and is cleaned everyday to perfection! Room is also close to a small supermarket and the bus stop to fira : ). Dimitri is friendly service. We shall visit again for Dimitri friendship and professional service. Facilities are ok for the price, but Dimitri's service excellent. Great view. kind people,nice service. All!!!. Just one WARNING if you stay there: DO NOT book their transfer service when leaving. We asked for a taxi and got a minibus that stopped along the way to pick up other guests in other hotels. The other guests were late and the driver just stood there waiting for over 15 minutes, even after we told the driver we had a flight to catch!!! The ride to the airport should have taken 20 minutes, but took 40 because of that. Not a criticism of the hotel but we arrived super early from Athens and had a little difficulty in finding the place as the bus driver did not let us know when to get off - we had to walk from Oia, although this was not too far and was a nice way to start the day in the end. But definitely make sure the bus driver lets you know where to get off!. -tiny bathroom, i needed to duck down (it is built into a cave, so its to be expected) -cannot flush toilet paper, but I think thats the case with all of the plumbing in Oia. The kitchen cupboards & the shower room smelt musty, although that's probably typical of a cave. The breakfast that was brought to us was a little pricey. Recommend including breakfast in your package deal. Satisfy with everything. We were offered another unit for early check in, which we took, but found out later that our original unit was much larger. The manager did change us back to the unit we booked but we feel that he should have offered us a comparable unit in the first place. The breakfast was not fantastique but big with a frech orange jus. The bad was not confortable for my hasband who have a back problème. Pool is a little far from accommodation and shared with other hotels (though still nice). The only downside is if you want to visit other parts of Santorini you can't walk -- but the bus system there is pretty efficient and easy to figure out. Walking to Oia Main Street is a little far ( abt 15-20 mins) but its really not that bad. Price!. Santorini is dangerous in terms of the slippy and uneven walking surfaces. There are no rails, warning signs etc. this is not a complaint of the hotel but of Santorini in general. I among others on the same day fractured my fibula. Consequently I would recommend Santorini with caution. I loved everything!. Only the date to leave this fantastic place. There is not a single issue that I could complain about; we had a great time with my daughter and looking forward to visit Oia again!. The time we arrived they had just re-painted the house, so there's a little oil smell..... Its hard to find the place and the parking is a bit far from it. The pool is not in the hotel but a 100M from it. nothing.
