I stayed at this hotel for three nights in the main suites of the hotel. I was so pleased with my stay at Villa Di Mare. The accommodations were spacious and clean. I enjoyed the easy access from my room's patio to the pool and private beach. There were many restaurants and convenient stores right across from the hotel. You can take the local bus directly into Old and New Rhodes in a matter of minutes. The grounds are well kept and made me feel like I was relaxing in the lap of luxury. The en.
所有评语 » We stayed 2 weeks in bungalow with the pool. The facilities and rooms are very luxuries. The every-day cleaning was excellent. The stuff was extremely friendly. Front managers Despoina and Matina greeted us as VIP persons. I have an experience with lots of top quality hotels and being a Marriott club member I can admit that Villa Di Mare service is even better than majority of 5 stars hotels. The location is excellent to take a car and discover the island. The pool is very clean. The bar and po. the staff were amazing, very friendly and good English spoken, Matina at the front desk did everything possible to make us happy and very welcoming, Despoina as well was very professional and friendly, the hotels is spread nicely with a pool the middle, close to many minimarkets and restaurants, the bar area is nicely located almost at the middle of the pool and a panoramic view of the sea, the lounge music at the pool area added a calm atmosphere, the best thing about the rooms area the size, . Great place for relaxation with convenient appartment suites and great seaside restaurant, pool and bar. Accomodation has it all: cleanness, design, small kitchen, space and direct approach to the pool and restaurant through the balcony door with a terrace providing privacy. Great. Local people come in during the day and evening to the pool, bar and restaurant, so the atmosphere is lively and authentic, and still not too noisy. My fiance and I recently took a 16 day trip around Europe and we stayed in Rhodes for 3 nights at Villa di Mare and were very impressed. Upon arrival we had no idea what to expect but a lovely lady greeted us at our car out front and already knew my name. Our room was very spacious with high ceilings, a nice small kitchen area, spa bath/shower and a large master suite. The staff was incredibly nice and the location could not have been easier for us (right on the beach, 10 minutes driving from a. Such a friendly atmosphere, hotel staff, without exception, so helpful and willing to please, especially the lady on reception. Good food, desserts often offered free of charge at the end of the meal. The bar area really tasteful, nice music, good selection of food, wine & cocktails, water given free as soon as you sit down. Linen and towels changed daily. Pool area fantastic, clean, plenty of sun beds and parasols. Great place to relax, with good food and wine. Our 2nd visit to this hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly - at the reception as well as at the poolbar and the restaurant. The rooms are big and clean, the pool with the bar is an absolute plus. If we ever travel there again, we will definitely choose the same hotel. The staff at Villa di Mare was great! Reservations manager Ms. Despoina Argyrou greeted us when we arrived. She was very nice and very helpful and even upgraded us to a better room. We got to stay in a big villa with a private swimming pool. Really nice and perfect for a family. The location is also ideal, right by the sea and restaurants and shops are close by. The facilities are great, the restaurant, swimming pool and it's bar they are just perfect. Our hotel had some of the best food we had tasted in Rhodes. Villa di Mare is in an excellent location in Ixia. Our accommodation had a private plunge pool which was much needed! The bungalow itself was also quite private. The main pool was very attractive though did get a little crowded at times. Staff were great, could not do enough for us, We were here just outside the tourist season and the villas had just opened for our arrival so there were some issues in our room and only the cafe was open during our stay. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is excellent. Location was great......nice vieuws !. What is there not to like?. the pillow were hard and was a crucial thing for me.... The lawn was cut on Su morning before 9 a.m. with electric appliances creating unpleasant alarming wake-up noise. This is just to remind the staff that such details matter a lot if you have just couple of days to rest. The pool was incredible, however it was open to the public and therefore its difficult to find a chair to layout in. This is the only negative thing I can say about this hotel. Our experience was incredible here, so this problem didn't bother us much. We went early April, unfortunately this is before the season really begins, there isn't much open in rhodes and the surrounding area. In the hotel, the pool bar and main restaurant were closed, which was a shame. There was a limited menu in the bar, still good, but not the same as the main restaurant, which we had experienced the year before. It's not the best place if you are looking for a quiet holiday: There are lots of bars and parties next to the hotel, although you don't hear much in the room. There is no classical "sandy beach" in the area, the beach there is a mixture of sand and stones, and it's a little walk away. The restaurants in the area next to the hotel are quite touristic. Nothing!. We got a feeling of night club at day time, which is not a draw back - it was just unexpected and perhaps not so family friendly to our taste. However, there were many families by the pool who got a long well with the consept. The gym was poorly equiped. Everything was perfect, really! We enjoyed every second. What we didn't like is to have left so soon =(. We did not find the beds comfortable but that could have just been us? Apartment decoratively is a bit tired and could do with re-vamp. Seating in lounge is two single beds so not really that comfortable to relax and no tv in the lounge. Drinks on site we were expensive bars opposite much cheaper. Spa bath did not appear to work Gardens were a little unkept. We didn't want to leave!. Constant music from pool bar, sometimes very loud. Some couples using pool seemed to think they were in their bedroom! Not the hotel's fault but not good when you're with kids!. The only thing we weren't so happy about was the surroundings. There were other quality hotels also in the area but the main street in Ixia and restaurants and shops were not so interesting. Luckily we had a car for the whole week and got easily to Rodos town every night and in daytime could drive around the island. Could get a parking space in front of the hotel every night, but this was not the high season. Some other reviews suggested the hotel was trying to do too many things. We didn't find that at all. While the pool is open to non-residents who use the pool bar, that wasn't an issue, and it was never overcrowded. We wasnt fans of the resort as stone beeches. We had to travel 40 minutes by car to the sandy beeches. Once there very worth the trip. Clear water, soft sand. Wifi, loud music in the bar P.S. Not sandy beach. The way from the reception to the rooms could be better. Noise from nearby night club. Difficult to park on site as the hotel is located on a very busy street. Alway exiting try not to get run over by vehicles when crossing the busy road outside. Ear-plugs is required if you would like to sleep before 2 am. Not the fault of the property, but the noise from nearby nightclub kept us awake some nights. Being a older person, the bath over to shower can be a problem. Nothing we didn't like. They advertise wifi everywhere but the reality is that in most of the rooms it doesn't work (I've seen lots of people, including me, staying on the balcony to have some not-so-good signal). A little overpriced very expensive mini bar (no price list provided). the disco bar was very noisy. - Poor design of bathroom and shower glass panel: When you take a shower all the water floods the floor. - Ants in kitchen and bathroom. The wifi is not working everywhere. Two nights without aircon also lack of hot water. Some facilities not available due to early in season. room was a little basic. The music at night was very noisy!. Was away from the action, mainly because most places around the resort were still closed as it was very quiet here. We were not expecting loud, pumping music all day and into the early morning from the pool bar. It seems that the guests paying a few hundred Euros for their rooms are given secondary consideration to non guests paying a few Euros for a sun lounger and a drink at the pool bar. Do not stay here if you are looking for a restfull stay, or any sleep before 2am. Pack your earplugs!. Rooms defin. need some upgrades. Surprised that non hotel guests could use the pool of the hotel......so in the afternoon overcrowded !.
