  I stayed at the St. Amon Hotel for two weeks in August and it was a wonderful experience for me. This family-owned hotel is set in a quite location not far from the bustling nightlife of Faliraki. My room was extremely clean and airy. The owners, Mike and Stefanos, were always friendly and welcoming. They always greeted me with a smiling face. The hotel is in a good location as it is about 5 min walk to the main strip of faliraki, which means you have the best of both worlds. The beach in another direction is also a 5 min walk.   Pool area was nice and the beach was just at 5 mins walking distance. Beach area was really good. Distance from Faliraki restaurants, bars and discos was good: not too close and not too far. First bars were only few hundres meters away and the centre was maybe 1km away. Recommend for people travelling without kids, maybe. The staff is excellent, always at hand and willing to go out of their way to help arrange car rentals etc. The pool area is nice and clean, and never too crowded. The location of the hotel is quiet, but near the road and the bus stop. It features a large convenient parking. No insects or ants in the room. The beach is quite far for walking, it is better to go by car. To the nearest cafes, discos and restaurants about 12 minutes pleasant walk, but their noise does not reach the hotel.   Staff was very friendly, enough parking for rented cars very close to your room. You don't really need a car because there is a little shuttle bus, but it's easier to get to your room, and also in general to explore Rhodes... Just a little bit of music during aqua gym but it's not too loud and not disturbing. (30 minutes a day). Possibility to eat at the pool rest - Wonderful location combining excellent sea view and landscape. Very close to Rhodos city with so many activities. Very friendly employees.
