Hotel was very good. Very good location. I don't normally like breakfasts as there is normally nothing suitable. I'm a veggie, they had lots suitable including boiled eggs. It's not hot food buffet but cold foods. I was very happy with it. The 2 men who run it are very friendly and super helpful. This made the stay very pleasant. I will defiantly stay there again when we visit again. Location is good, lightly out of centre but literally across a road so makes it quiet but near everything too! .
所有评语 » VV is a rather small, modern hotel featuring a number of clever ideas. Examples: towel sets of different colours, so that you don't mistake them, or a bathroom with separate switches for light, ventilation and quick infra-red heating. In that way the hotel does not waste the resources and at the same time you get exactly what you wanted. Similar ideas apply to a minimal yet efficient reception and a self-service mini-bar, where you can get free tea / coffee at any time of day and night. Other p. Location: 3 minutes walk from main rail station, 5 minutes from main bus station: Rooms: very very clean and well appointed. Slightly larger than what I would have expected. Continental table breakfast with adequate choice, teas, coffee and many juices. Hotel has sauna and jacuzzi (not used) and gym equipment. I actually asked how long it was open as it appeared recently refurbished. 2 years. Very friendly host. Im happy not to book any other hotel if ever back in Brno. I really liked the design of the interior. It would enhance any modern home. The owner could not have been more helpful. The breakfast was very enjoyable. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the main railway station and tram stops and 10 minutes from the city centre shops and restaurants etc. I am a light sleeper but I had a room at the back and slept very well with the window open. It is less than 3 years old and has a lift. I loved the interior design and the rooms were so comfortable! Clean, crisp lines and soft, comfy beds. The big windows open up in different configurations to take advantage of the breeze. The breakfast was really good and there was coffee and tea available at all times. Also there was a very reasonably priced minibar. The hotel is literally five minutes away from the train station. Everything. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Especially for the help which the owner gave me. When I arrived on Friday afternoon, it was discovered that I had left my reading glasses on the train, after many phone calls to Czech Railways, they were found in Prague, sent to Brno Main Station from where the Hotelier collected them and returned to me on Monday. Very good location, from which you can easily reach the central area by walking. Parking on site, in an internal yard, which is locked. They even give you a remote for the garage if you need to come and go. Staff is great, very helpful, breakfast is also pretty good and the whole place is very clean. The VV Hotel was excellent value – beautifully decorated, clean and well-maintained, and in a good location for the city sights. The host was friendly and accommodating, and gave us a warm welcome. The breakfast was also good and substantial. I would recommend the VV Hotel to anyone coming to Brno. Super-modern & clean. Breakfast included, with free coffee whenever you want it. I got lost on my way there at 11pm, and the proprietor very nicely waited up for me. That was really kind. Ideal for a pre-flight stopover. Handy for the station, too. Recommended. Nice small hotel in a quiet street, short walk (5min) to the old town center. The stuff was really helpful, and full of confidence in their guests. They gave us the opportunity to leave our cars at the hotels garage for the few hours after out check out :). Great location behind the train and bus stations in downtown Brno. Easy access to public transportation to take you anywhere. The hoteliers were great and willing to accommodate my need to check in and out at special times because of my journey. New building with some rooms with balcons (on the back side). Room are ok size and furniture. The "bar" is open 24 hours on self service basis. The heating and ventilation system seems great and give excellent comfort. Breakfast is limited but ok. The brothers that run this hotel do a very professional job.Rooms and breakfast are very nice.Beds comfortable.Wifi to room works well.Well located between bus and train stations.If staying in Brno this is the place to stay.Highly Recommended. Had a very pleasant stay. Large room, good breakfast and complimentary tea and coffee, as well as a bottle of water in your room each day. Nice touch. It's close to the train station so very convenient if you're traveling by train. A friendly staff attitude, comfortable room, distance to the city centre. There was no restaurant but free cofee on the ground floor and the receptionist advised me a nice pub to go for dinner & beer in a walking distance. The hotel was very new, clean and modern. The rooms were clean, spacious and modern. The breakfast was excellent! Parking space in the inner yard was convenient though quite tight to get to with a larger car. Liked everything about the place , can't recommend it enough , only critism is the tables weren't big enough for all of the food that is provided for breakfast , if that is a complaint it's not a bad one . I arrived at 11pm and the receptionnist took the time to offer me some touristic guide about Brno. Also they accept EURO. On 2 occasions people used the key to come into our room. The second time I had a chair next to the door. It was the owner and cleaner but this was rather scary and off-putting when travelling alone with young child. I believe both times was a mistake and I would stay there again. Just put do not disturb sign and lock the door. Nothing bad, highly recommended. Would have liked a shower cap ;-). What can i say. I found nothing not to like. I liked everything. It is somewhat hard to find, though they have put signage along the main road. The neighborhood isn't aesthetically pleasing, but for the price and the wonderful interior, I think it's fine. Nothing. Hard to find, and not in the prettiest part of town. Get a cab if it's your first time in Brno!. Wall and roof lacks soundinsulation. The hotel-reception is closed between breakfast and 3 pm. It's a shame that these issues haven been improved before because everything else makes this hotel a great value!. I think it was high heel noice I could hear quite loud on the room above me or next to mine. What actually means that noice insulation could be improved. The street is an alley with strip club. Its hard to explain little children why the see photos of naked woman on the way to the hotel... The gym was only one spinning bike and one cross-trainer - was expecting a bit more. The location is a bit shady and the neighborhood does not look very safe or welcoming, but on the other hand you are only 5 minutes away from the old town, easily reachable by foot. no a/c - for the two days a year it matters. not bad though. - missing some amenities. The location is close to the center but environment is not really the best one. Though 5 min walk in center and same to the big shopping mall. Nothing to mention really, maybe bit more veggies for breakfest, but that's individual preference. A little bit hard to find the main door entrance.It could do with an awning if raining as you have to wait after ringing the bell,for reception to come and let you in. The location is conveniently located nearby the central station, which means in a slightly sketchy neighborhood. Immediate area a little down at heel. nothing. The area immediately around the hotel is a little run down. The mattress was a bit hard... The street in which is hotel is a bit strange. Nothing to dislke. Had to wait outside for over an hour as there are no staff on site between eleven in the morning and three in the afternoon when one of the owners arrives to check in new guests. Quality or rooms and pleasantness of the two brothers who own the place made up for this minor inconvenience. It was a little noisy outside in the morning. The room is not completely sound proof. - Simple mattress on the bed - A bit noisy neighbours on the street. beds were too hard and a double bed consists of 2 singles put together.
